Laura, when I first found your channel, you had about 7,000 subscribers, now you have 343 THOUSAND subscribers?? Kudos to you and all those you have inspired to take control of their health!!
I typically will get a bunch of hamburger patties from Costco, cook them, save them in the fridge and eat them cold when I am in a pinch. Hamburger patties and hard boiled eggs and I am good to go!
Thanks for the tip! I forgot about their grass-fed hamburger patties as I started ordering from Holy Cow Beef. Since I need to go further on a more Carnivore diet, I better get these again.
Yay, Buc-ees! I saw another content creator eat the three meat sandwich and saw that it was a huge portion of meat. So happy to hear they sold you just the meat without all the other carb heavy stuff.
Beautiful to see, glowing having energy and having a busy out of Your comfortweek. And to keep the promise with yourself to stick to your plan. It works for you! Thank you for showing me some backbone energy 🙏🏻❤
This video was helpful because it should the reality of life and not always being prepared, I thought in the beginning you were going to say “I didn’t prepare food for the trip, so I plan to fast” but I was surprised that you showed us a true video
I always enjoy watching your "what I eat" videos...they serve to inspire me and remind me that I won't waste away to nothing if I take a few days to eat clean carnivore and maybe even fast a bit. Thanks so much for sharing that part of your story with us. 🙂
The Buccee’s tips are so helpful! We have one here and also we stop there when we are in TX. I never buy anything though because I’m not sure how to navigate it. Thanks!
There's a turkey place in Abbott, TX right on I-35 where you could've gotten the BEST smoked turkey. You are in Texas...you can ALWAYS find a barbeque place. In Belton, TX, right on I-35, I recommend Schoepf's where ALL their meats are smoked. (This is my home turf, if you can't tell.) In Austin, there are multiple places to get legal meats.
@LauraSpath Most of the ones I mentioned serve the sauce AFTER they smoke the meat, so just mention that. You generally pick what you want right off the smoker. I have always despised sauce. In Texas we say...if you have to have sauce on the meat, you have cooked it wrong.
I'm appreciating your boldness and ingenuity in finding the foods you need when you're traveling or really anytime. Bravos young lady 👏🥩🔥👍💯 and thank you for sharing ❣️
Beware of scrambled eggs in hotels. They could have fillers. Hubby has celiac and when I ask they check and yes, there is wheat in some of the scrambled eggs. Could be why you were hungry.
I really like that you take a big-ol-bite of whatever you are eating that day. I just started more ketovore than carnivore but trying to solve some gut issues and finding eating enough is an issue for me so trying to get 1 gram of protein per 1lb of lean body weight is leading to 3 meals. Hoping this lifestyle will lead to long lasting solutions. Great content, love watching your journey.
I love your travel tips. I travel across the country every two months from Virginia to Arizona to Idaho. It is a lot of different challenges to stay on the diet. My last trip in DC I eat breakfast at Dunkin’ eggs bacon and cheese and it was wonderful.
On my last trip in DC I also instead of spending $80 on unknown restaurant prepared meat. I went to Costco there in Arlington and took sirloin from the deli and with chicken back to the hotel.
This WAS helpful. Tryn'ta organize my whole eating thing 😊 P.s. That airport barbacoa seemed kinda chef- fancy, Not "normal" Texas barbacoa. Bravo Laura !
Haven't watched you for a few months Laura. Great presentation on how to eat while out of the house. Very helpful. BTW, you look much younger! Congratulations on keeping carnivore. It shows. Merry Christmas! Grace and Peace.
The only outlet food I can tolerate are burger patties from Grill’d here in Melbourne. Just chicken, lamb, beef and wagyu. Tried chorizo last week and was crook for days. Certainly challenging when out of town. Well done on your choices, Laura. 🇦🇺
Great video. I really like the Flying Dutchman when I hungry while out and about. I love the Buckees tips. I wish I had known you were in Dallas. I would have loved to "meat" you but understand you had to head to Austin before it got dark.
I know you did not have time to prepare this time Laura, but have you purchased the super thin ribeye sliced meat in the meat section at Costco? I dry it off very well and then dehydrate in my oven for 4 hours on 170 deg with some salt and it is great traveling meat.
Your lucky in the USA having so much choice I live in the UK and we don’t have a fraction of the choice of carnivore foods that you have in the USA and I find this is very limiting especially going out for meals. I would welcome any suggestions especially from my UK carnivore friends on how they manage eating out on a carnivore food plan . Thanks for your videos xx
Does the hydro jug need a long straw or just the short one like on your lid? Have a great week. I wish Buc-ees had a clean jerky :( Good to know on the sandwich portion of plain meats.
Would have been nice if the powers that be had told us the truth instead of lying about the fats and seed oils, we all could have avoided the super sized roll of skin around our waist.
Curious if you've mentioned or wouldn't mind sharing what you do for work... Do you normally work remote which allows you to do so much home meal preparation?
@@LauraSpath Thanks for the reply. I did sign up for the locals community, as well. Today is day 115 of eating Carnivore and working out side the home with a commute has presented its challenges. I have used your TH-cam channel as a resource for eating well away from home and have found good choices around where I work. I would prefer to meal prep except that I hate it and every time we do, we end up wasting a good bit of it. I thought I would do a vlog that started on Day 0 and then posted on Day 12. As I said, today is Day 115 and I've not posted in 113 days, but the journey is going well--down 36 lbs! WOOT!
That's amazing, great job! I'm sure sharing your story would be really helpful to others as well if you get a chance. I agree with you about meal prep, doing too much of it I get sick of the food I made ahead. haha
Should I be counting calories on carnivore? I have been using my fitness pal to make sure I’m eating 70/30 but to meet my protein goals my calories end up so high. Do I ignore the calories or and I just doing everything wrong?
New sub here and on the carnivore diet for almost 2 weeks I’ve lost 6 lbs but I have no appetite and I’m tired of meat and eggs kinda grossing me out. I super tired HELP!!
Sometimes a little fast can help make you really hungry again, also something that feels "different" like chicken wings or a taco bowl can help. Those always make be feel like I'm eating "normal" food when I'm feeling sick of meat.
I wonder if meat can cause polyps and colon cancer. Anyone know? Or Alzheimers disease? I recently switched to eating more animal proteins because plants cause kidney stones.

The thing with scrambled eggs when eating out is that most of the time they are made from a mix that contains wheat. Keep that in mind.

Awesome, I'll check them out next time I'm there. Some bbq places have sugar but often times there are clean ones.

Thank you for making these videos. It gives me more ideas, even though I don't travel for work.
Throughly enjoyed this video. Gives hope to travel woes 🤙🏽
Love all your videos but this one was particularly good showing how you negotiate challenges staying clean whilst travelling. ❤

Thank you so much for all your travel tips! I had NO idea you could bring ice through TSA - Game changer!
If you do the Houston to Dallas drive again, stop at Woody's Smokehouse in Centerville, TX. They have great brisket.
Thanks I'll save it on my list, I am in Texas often for work!

If i need to get back on track fast I go to sardines and butter only. Then back to beef/carnivore within 3-5 days.

When is doubt... Burger patties save the day! Lol

How much is that flying dutchmen for In-N-Out? Buccee's Brisket isn't too bad though.
Curious if you've mentioned or wouldn't mind sharing what you do for work... Do you normally work remote which allows you to do so much home meal preparation?
I work for a Saas company, yes normally I work from home but I usually travel 1-2x per month, depending on our projects.

LMNT has a bit of maltodextrin not listed in ingredients.
Beast mode 😅
I did the Carnivore Diet for a couple of weeks.... I gained 4 lbs..... sigh!
Omelette might be an egg 'mixture.' Ewwww
Hope it was from full eggs. 🥚 🍴
I wonder if meat can cause polyps and colon cancer. Anyone know? Or Alzheimers disease? I recently switched to eating more animal proteins because plants cause kidney stones.
Why do t you eat butter? How do you get enough fat eating carnivore?
Meat drippings, sour cream, warmed egg yolks to dip meat in, heavy cream, crisped up meat fat
