Bayezid has a close brush with death. Death is everywhere on the Magnificent Century! Bayezid gets betrayed by Rustem, and he girds himself with his sword and goes to fight. Bayezid fights with all his strength and corners Selim. Just as Selim comes to an end, everything turns upside down because of an arrow Selim gets shot by in the chest. Bayezid gets a fatal blow and he gets terrified when he sees the person who has shot him. Selim gets afraid that Bayezid will get his strength back and advences upon his brother with his army.
Bayezid goes to Iran with his children. Suleiman gets angry when he learns his son has taken refuge of Tahmasb I.
Sparrowhawk returns to the capital to kill Rustem and gets help from someone surprising. The deadly fight between them thrillingly comes to an end. Bayezid finds out that his father bargains for his life with Tahmasb I as he expects to be forgiven. Selim makes an insidious plan that the alarm bells start to ring for Bayezid.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

"I ask you to forgive my brother."
No, Mirimah. Your brother is an idiot who is well deserved of his fate at this point. Need I remind you that you had pushed for Mustafa to be demoted and executed based on mere rumours and allegations of him being a traitor?
So what makes you think that you can save Bayazid after actually amassing an army and declaring war on Selim, the sultan's designated heir? After Suleiman has made it public knowledge that any attack on Selim is an attack on himself?

Yes Bayezid was a good guy but had a mind of a stubborn angry toddler.

Its because irl she had différent relationship with both of her brothers. I think irl her and Bayazed were bff so she just couldnt see him dead and Mustafas bossy atitude annoyed her so she probably wanted to prove him wrong. And lets not forget that Mustafa in throne would get them all killed so... It was probably one of the reasons why she wanted Mustafa out of the way as well

It's sad how things changed, the peace is gone since episode 134 ending

I don't really , but she would tell Suleiman what happened in episode 131-132 in manisa. Suleiman would send them to different provinces and the matter would be closed. Suleiman wouldn't do anything to Selim/beyazid because he wants Hurrem sultan on his side.

@@user-gp3xf7jp9n he might want Hurrem on his side. But Selim doesn't have to comply.
We have seen him going behind his mother's back to take a shot at Bayazid before. He would not be made to back down. And if not him, Nurbanu.

What can Selim do if she isn't on his side? Moreso nurbanu. They don't have influence on Suleiman.

@@user-gp3xf7jp9n they don't need it. They just need him to like them more than Bayazid. And between them playing the part of the nonthreatening party (major point score to an increasingly insecure and paranoid person as Suleiman) and Bayazid making such a great job ruining himself, they could hardly do any better

Why didn't she tell Suleiman that Rustem betrayed her? At least she would get the divorce.

      1. Writers being dumb 2. Suleiman will likely dismiss it as a lie or tell Mihrimah to let it past.

OK but why does everything have to be about Saint Mustafa? The whole narrative reduces so much of the actual complexity of the conflict and his siblings to nothing more than disposable pawns in his story. On top of the deeply problematic politics of it all.
