@@sylviaaskew1433 no, they were talking about physical good looks. Look up actual images of the actors and you will see that the original commenter is right. Mehmet and Selim and the actors that portrayed them are strikingly handsome in real life. Get a grip

There was no real need. He had forgiven Bayezid multiple times before and the intelligence he was receiving was overwhelming. Plus, none of what Selim wrote to him was untrue as Bayezid was gathering an army and starting a rebellion.
Not to mention that Bayezid turned so many people who once supported him against him. First, he had a hand in execution of Ahmed pasha, who was Sehzade Mustapha's friend and Bayezid's silent supporter. Then he turned his once most loyal supporter Lala Mustafa pasha against hiim with his plans which were doom for everybody involved. And eventually even Rustem Pasha who supporter Bayezid out of respect for Hurrem and Mihrimah, saw the light and turned against him at the most crucial moment. Not to even mention alienating Sokollu Mehmet Pasha, who at the time was already one of if not the most powerful man in reality in the empire.
Realistically, just by having Sokollu on his side, Selim was already a winner before the fight even started. And Selim knew how to reward Sokolly for his help as he married Sokollu to one of his daughters.
Selim didn't have to do absolutely anything against Bayezid. Bayezid's own stupid mistakes were his doom. He was his own worst enemy.
Mehmet was most handsome of all princes. Selim is the next most good looking

Selim is best suited for a sultan depending on the historical background of the countries.
For me I'm so much interested in this Magnificent century episode, mostly I'm very sorry of fighting between brothers, ❤
There was too many in every situation , Suleiman should have investigated but he didn't
