      Although this video is a year old I'd like to add this comment and ask if multiple answers can sometimes be correct since at 18:10 i actually found a pattern and got the answer 36, as I added 2+2+10+7=21... Then I added 7+3+21+5=36 and your method was obviously correct aswell however for these type of questions do I need to involve every number? Since I didn't involve the 4.

    I got the 22*22 queston by percentages and matched that way. It never actually equaled exactly 30% but that is how I figured it out. Your way is easier in your head.

    My answer is 50%
    8-12=4hours
    And 4hours is the 50 percentages of 8hours.
    My answer is 50% longer than project 1 correct me if I'm wrong.

      its 150 lol , more do not mean that you have to subtract 100% , i also used to think that they are asking more that means i have to subtract but trust me answer is always of total . let 8 hr. be the 100% then 12 hr. must represent 150% thats how its 150%

    13:16 also forms another patter which is :
    (Current position)² - current position
    1²-1 =0
    2²-2 = 2
    3²-3= 9
    4²-4=12
    5²-5=20
    6²-6=30
    7²-7=42 -> same answer

  • @salehmajeed
    @salehmajeed 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    In the example at 00:16:00, there are two correct solutions: 0 horizontally and 3 vertically. 3 is also correct because the pattern decreases vertically by 2.
    The first column is 11, the next column is 9, so the third column should be 7, and answer D) 3 is also correct. This is why I hate this test because it has a lot of confusions.

    22*22= 16
    33*33 = 36
    44*44 = 64
    My calculation:
    Figured out a pattern that a table is being followed so next calculation will be with 4 * 16 since each number has a difference of 4.
    2* 8 = 16
    3*12= 36
    4*16 = 64

    At 2:19 I got the same answer by doing it this way. Was that just a fluke?
    I took the left diagonal numbers 3,4,10,24 and found (3+1)=4, (4+6)=10, and (10+14)=24. So I had 1, 6, 14. I did the same with these: (1+5)=6 and (6+8)=14. So I then had 5,8. I broke that down to (5+3)=8. So then I was left with 3. I added the very top 24+28 = 52 and then added on the +3 to get 55.

      The secret is not only to get the correct answer, but what is the best and shortest way to get the correct answer 😉👍

  • @pdoshi2
    @pdoshi2 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

    The correct answer is -33% longer. P1 takes 8 hours, P2 takes 12 hours, and the question is, "How much longer in percentage [terms] it takes P1 vs. P2?" Thus the question should have been posed, "P2 vs. P1" because P1 takes LESS time than P2 or the multiple choice should have a negative option. Sadly this question is flawed. Assuming the question is posed intentionally, then P1 takes 4 FEWER hours or -4/12 = -33% LONGER than P2. There is no changing the fact that P2 is LONGER hence the answer is negative or the question is mistaken or the multiple choice options are insufficient.

    Project 1 is completed 50 percent FASTER than Project 2.
    Why? Because 50 percent of Project 1 = 4 hours.
    And it takes 8 hours to complete it vs 12 hours, the difference between 4 hours.
    So it is 50 percent faster.
    * Note: If it was 100 percent faster, it would be 100 percent of the original + 100 percent added boost = double the efficiency which would be the case if Project 2 was 16 hours instead.

      its 50 percent faster than 12 hours. If it was 8 vs 16 hours, its half the time taken, which is also 100% faster cuz its double the time. 200% is double - 100% = 100% if it was 16v8 hours. But for this question since it is 8 vs 12, it is 4 hours faster. 4 hours is 50% of the time taken for Project 1 which is the reference, so Project 1 is 50 percent faster!
