Hi ,I have a bathtub 32x72" whirlpool with a 9.9 amp GE motor and attached pump that needs work. It has a chip board but doesn't respond to power. Any retrofit solution that maintains strong pressure?

I replaced the circuit board, how do I set the dip switches? Its a Balboa board 2008 L8-F11 (cal spa) 230V . It has a simple 3btton control Jets, Heat, light. The jets come on, stay on 6 seconds, stops then sometime later comes on again, same again 6 seconds and stops. Right now on #3 dip switch is on. I have turned off power, every time, same thing.
I replaced my grundfos low flow pump the 115v version on a leisure bay spa. The low flow pump doesn’t seem to be able to keep the flow fast enough to prevent an overheating error. When the spa jets are turned on the spa has no issue with overheating. Could I have purchased a bad low flow pump?
How old are your filters? Even after rinsing them out they can still get clogged up with fine "dust" and restrict the flow just enough for an overheat condition to occur.
Can the Grundfos pumps be mounted vertical? In my Sundance spa the Laing pump is mounted vertical.

We purchased a caldera with an energypro blah blah blah pump. The pump specs say it pumps 5 gal per minute. Why would it be so much lower than all pf these other pumps? Is it ok to have one with such low gpms?
Hi, can you help me i got American STANDARD HOT TUB I think by what you say it's a JET PUMP 10. AMPS ? it has 3/4 motor a 48 type across the motor 5 7/8 to, I WANT TO BUY a PUMP i think need the bearing to at pump ? IF HAVE a kit give me price if got it ? I want to know this to, I GUESS ALL THEM with same numbers not the same power ? so i want to take out the new i got has low power ? put my old pump in, the motor was still good.
I have a Hot Springs Jetsetter and a tech installed a Laing E10 to replace the old silentflo pump. It's making a lot more bubbles almost too much. Is the E10 the wrong pump? Thanks.
So can you replace a 230v tiny might with the corresponding 230v grundfos?

Does this mean if you want a pump for jets rather than just circulation you should buy a pump over 6-7 Amp?

Whats the main difference between a LX WP300-i and LX LP300-i Circulation pump. The LP300-i is less expensive
Lp was the earlier version and had a different style motor.. It was more like a bathtub pump than a hot tub pump.. The pump parts are the same though..
In my new spa I have an LX WTC50M circulation pump.
I am currently not satisfied with my spa because the pump vibrates very strongly and the whole pool produces a strong humming sound. You show many different circulation pumps here. so, which one is the quietest you would recommend to replace an LX WTC50M ?

Can you tell me, I am swapping my old laing pump that has a J&J plug for a new laing pump that has just a new wire on it and no plug.
Can I just remove and discard the new cable from the new pump, and use the entire old plug from the old pump?
Both have 3 wires, black, white and green.
The tub is an older Royal spa tub.
Just want to confirm this is the best method to replace my pump.

Sorry but, the new wire does not have a plug end on it, just the wires.

@@SpaGuy hi there, I bought a Laing circulation pump to replace my Silentflo 5000. It does not have a grounding stud on the back. Is that a big deal?
If my circulation pump is not running and attached to my heater, will it going out cause my hot tub not to heat?

I have a Waterway Iron Might Circulation pump that cuts out after 20 to 40 minutes. What would cause this to happen?

Tony I doubt it is he pump more likely system issue like a Flow issue.. have you checked to make sure the voltage is still going to the pump when it stops?
220v is the same as the 230??

flo master xp2e spa pump 05825489-2 04124 serial #076353-016 why cant i find that?? it is the 56 and it says it is a 5 hp 230 it froze. and i watched all your videos. i want to just exchange all of it, not parts. it has to be older, it came from chino ca but they are not spas anymore. or they just dont have that what ever. it says emerson on it.
Using a brass hydronic heating pump last for 30 years compared to 3 years on those junk plastic pumps
