My original oem housings started turning yellow. I used a few different restoration kits that didn't work. I'm pissed that my 2015 LTZ has such cheap ass components(lighting housings) I'm looking for good replacements. Any suggestions?
Most aftermarket housings are a gamble when it comes to fading and/or getting condensation in them..or you can take a chance and go the expensive route and get a set of spyder headlight housings..they’re known to be good headlights
Yo I got a custom grille I wanna put on mines can I do the same process u did to do change my grille without unscrewing the bottom of the bumper? And what are all the tools u used in this video because I’m finna go to auto zone and borrow them lol
You probably can, not sure how much room you’ll need to get the grille out/in, because it only allows for you to bend it forward to an extent. But if not then you’ll have to jack it up and get underneath..
You skip the most important aspects of the replacement there more to it. I'm disappointed. I replace my headlights on my 2018 LTZ and to do it right you need to loosen the bumper assembly completely 😮
@miguelvalentin602 You don’t have to do all of that…but at the end of the day we both still got the same results when changing headlight housings on an Impala.
I replaced my headlight assembly on the passenger side then my driver side stoped working. I had no water in mine

Great video how much was the assembly? Was the Ballast included?
Where Are You Located I Needa Bring Mine 😩🤣
That one bolt you need the extension for is so damn annoying.... I needed and extension on my extension!
How did you know how to do this
What kind of extension you had to use
It was a 3/8 socket wrench extension with the 10mm socket on the end of it

As far as tools…#10 star tool, socket wrench 10mm & 7mm, and maybe a screw driver/flathead…I used pliers & needle noses just as gripping tools
@@Five3_Nell thank you so much for responding and thank you for that information❤️
Dealership told me 1,500 for this . Thank you 🙏🏾
@Jtrill If you got a few tools do it yourself. It’s nothin to it!!!
@@Five3_Nell Hell, Im seeing 1500 for the parts alone. And, thats online, not from a shop. Where did you find replacement parts?
@@MyZ001 Amazon or EBay
Dont make no sence why GM made it so difficult to change headlights.
