Hi Friend!!! Man oh man thank you sooooo much!!!! I accidentally hit a garbage can HARD af when driving home and smashed the passenger mirror. I grabbed the tools from AutoZone and attached my passenger side mirror thanks to your video! Saved me an easy $500 - $700 from having it fixed at a shop: total for me with tools (and spliff I smoked while installing... lol) was $174.51. Like an earlier commenter, I tried to save money by skipping a feature and it ended up not fitting my 2020 Impala model. Best spend the extra $20 or so bucks and save yourself having to ship a return... Thanks again!

FYI to the audience make sure the new mirror has the same features as the old. I Impulsively bought one off of ebay because it was a paint match and it had the blind spot warning as my old one didn't. I was able to remedy making the plug fit by removing the extra pin inside the connection for said warning. Still better to get the right one.
I need just replace the cap on my drivers side 2019 Impala. The mirror works. If I can get that, how do I get it painted to match the rest of the without going to a dealer?
Thanks Dullah was able to get this done but I have a question I have a gap at the bottom of the mirror that I cannot figure out how to fix. I checked the other side and it’s no gap and it’s annoying me knowing it’s there. Do you have an IG I can send you a picture to get some advice dullah?
Make sure the foam foam from the old mirror is not still on the car while putting in the new miee with the new foam and also make sure the new mirror dont have any extra nuts on it and make sure the door is not damage depending on how the mirror got damage
Quick question bro, I tried detaching my side panel just like you said, it wasn't budging I took a look and it has some type of yellow 🟡 stopper that is hooked with that panel. If I tried yanking it I'm afraid I might cause serious damage to it and the panel won't be able to be put back in place. Any thoughts? I have a 2015 by the way

You could have just replaced the back cover with out taking anything apart I had to do this on my 2018 lt1 impala super easy

You can but the blind spot still won't work because you wont have the radars that detect cars in your blind spot and also the wiring is different
