huh, i was looking for a how to replace a front bumper on an impala, didnt expect to get my answers on a headlight installation video. now i might just order me some aftermarket light so i can replace my bumper at the same time
I had a 2000 Regal that had 2 headlight slide clips per headlight assembly. No screws, no push fasteners, no removing the bumper. I remember having the headlight out for race day in less than 20 seconds!! Goodness are newer cars complex!!
Hello Dude - fantastic video - you have given me the confidence to order the headlights and do this myself! Thank you - once completed - I’ll send you a donation - thanks again!!
Just bought these a few days ago. Installed them today. I have a 2018 chevy impala LT. I have to say what a difference these make driving. The DRL really make the difference on the peripheral lightning. Still not as bright as I would like, but better than the narrow stock headlights. Also still thinking of installing some flush mount lights on my car and adding a small light bar under the front license plate to help improve visability while only using low beams in really dark areas. I had to adjust the lights position higher. The instructions said they were already positioned to the best location, but when I installed them they were pointing down a lot. Tried driving with it. Felt like I was chasing a huge shadow. Thinking of putting in leds in the headlights, but the manufacturer said that would void warranty. All in all I feel like I made a good purchase. It was cheaper to buy the pair of these than an individual OEM headlight assembly. Also in my purchase, I bought the all chrome assembly, in hopes to reflect the light better.
@@elvisr8180 they are better. The drl lights are the reason you have better lightning to the sides. But I feel better driving at night with these, than the OEM lights.
I have 2016 Chevy Impala V6 LT. The Factory Headlights that came with car are pathetic , They aren't bright enough during night driving. Which Flush Mount Lights did you install ? I have very little experience with installing the lights myself .. and No mechanic is willing to install fog lights or Flush mount lights.
@@madhurgupt yeah I have a 2018 and the headlights is an absolute embarrassment. If you want a proper high output headlight then you will have to do a bi led projector retrofit. Im going to replace the trash halogen projectors with a set of NHK IV plus.
How do I change the bulb if I wanna switch to LED? There is a lot of wires when I installed it coming from where you would normally put one and I just don’t wanna break something and having to order a new headlight housing.
@spyderAuto 👏💯Yes! Love this; Can you do a video about the daylights and how to replace broken wiring to the daylights, I'd really appreciate it, thanks again..
How can you get the lens strip to light up along with the daytime running lights by themselves? Somehow my lens strip doesn’t come on at all unless I turn my high beams on. I have a 2017 impala premier. Can anyone help please?
Will these headlights work on a 2014 Impala LT2 I noticed the car is a LTZ with the running lights on the bottom mine does not have the running lights on the bottom. Or can someone guide me to the information I need to find out what I need to add the running lights on bottom.

You might as well keep em stock. Looks like 20 screws and the whole front end just to replace headlights. And only to find out some don't fit the car. Somewhere gm messed up
So I purchased these about a year ago. The beam pattern isn’t right, as if the projectors aren’t centered. Instead of a straight line, they are tilted like a smiley face. Anyone else have this problem?
@@millionkilliati6140 No, the adapter on the wire harness of the headlight and the adapter on the car are two different shapes; wont fit. Had to get headlight assemblies from GM themselves.
How does the beam pattern look on these? Is the projector on these better than the original equipment, because the original projector pod sucks on these cars.
@@gjg19791 it's not flat across the top like factory, but it is much wider. Brights throw a perfect diamond pattern. If anything the low beams need to be adjusted higher by a few inches, but other than that very happy. They work great with halogens or a decent set of LEDs. Dont put cheap LEDs in them.
I need to know this, my headlight bulb just went out on my after market headlight and I’m trying to figure out which bulb fits on it. Also you have to remove the whole bumper and take the headlight out to replace the headlight bulb. It’s terrible
10 push pins to remove cover
x2 T-25 screws
x8 T- 20 screws
x4 T-15 screws
7mm hex bolt
10mm screw

So helpful full of information. Thank you so much for this tutorial. My headlights look amazing.

The old style Impala was so much simpler. Remove 1 clip and 1 screw then lift out the assembly. This is insane.

I bought it for my imapala 2014 lt but the DRL don’t turn on? Can I use some adapters from Amazon to make them work ?
