    NOTES:
    - Quote: "If we can't sell based on product differentiation, what do we do? The answer lies in your value. What is the actual value that you bring during the sales process? What is your value? This is where the difference is made in today's market."
    - Provide your customers with insight. Give customers information they currently don't have.
    - Give the custom perspective. Show them a new way of looking at the market in a way that they haven't considered before.
    - Help the customer explore other considerable options.
    - Help the customer avoid making bad decisions.
    - Help them sell it to higher ranking employees at their job, especially to their management boss or the CEO.
    - Help them justify the ROI and TCO (Total cost of ownership).

    I made the mistake of undervaluing one of my products. I sell African and Carribean necklaces, crystal necklaces, and chakra bracelets. I noticed that as far as my bracelets only my africa jade bracelets were making sells and not the others so I sold the rest of the bracelets in a bundle and cut the price in HALF! I sold 8 bracelets for $40 when it was originally 12.99 for each individual bracelet. That was a dumb mistake because I spent money and put in a lot of work into my bracelets.

      You made handmade jewelry? In a capitalist society, it is all about making the greatest possible profit. Even the effort you put into it comes with a price.
      If you still sell jewelry, are you selling value?

    but what if my competitor is significantly cheaper in price?

    • @VictorAntonioLive
      @VictorAntonioLive  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you sell at a higher price you have to learn to sell the "value" of why it's higher. VA

    • @VonYaDig
      @VonYaDig 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm a store manager for Verizon, when customers try to tell me they can get a cheaper price at sprint. I first remind them of why they're looking into Verizon.. Quality of service, second. I show them why cheaper isn't better.. Example sprint is "cheaper" because they lease their phones. So installments are cheaper monthly which in theory makes their prices "cheaper" ... However when it comes to the end of the two year agreement they have to then pay more money to keep the phone.. And with Verizon , you pay to own the phone so after the 2 years it's actually cheaper and you don't have to pay more money just to own the phone. 3rd I like to create value with my service I provide them and try to create a long lasting customer who returns to my store with any futures inquires they may have about their services.
