    GREAT piece Mr Cardone...As a Benefits Advisor, the moment I "quote" my deal is dead. I focus on presenting value, discuss the reasons why companies do business with my firm and then ask for the business. My preference is to get to the "NO" sooner rather than later!

  • @joshuadandridge312
    @joshuadandridge312 5 ปีที่แล้ว +76

    @3:33 he said. "Well a company last year did it for 80 bucks". You say, " well Mr/Ms Prospect, why aren't you going with that other company and why did you make this call?"
    emphasis your value and don't justify the price... never justify the price

    • @joerez5172
      @joerez5172 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I made the call because I learned how to maximize my dollar. For me all thats lost is a few minutes of calls. The potential to save money is worth the call, especially over the course of many transactions. People can be aware of paying for quality, but the financially responsible will still price shop.

      Again if you think about it. Not true at all. If you say something about anything that offends the client your deal is history. Political, religion, sexual orientation, famous person, etc. So yes you lose many sales by something that you say which is perceived as wrong.

    Case in point that what you say doesn’t affect the outcome. I’m in car sales and was in the middle of a deal when the manager came over to help close. He accidentally called the man’s wife his mother (to be fair, she was 15 years older than he was). She goes “we’re done!” And storms out. Apparently it wasn’t the first time that day as another dealership did the same thing. Long story short, they bought the truck. But MAANNNNNN was I CRYING 😂😂😂

    My price is based on the value I bring.
    Don’t take shit from clients. There are millions of potential customers.
    State the value that you bring, educate them, and if they say no, put them in the follow up funnel!!
    You get what you deserve. If you don’t think you’re the best in your industry, you don’t deserve financial freedom.
    Just my $0.02

    Sometimes when I listen to Grant talk, some of the things he says really sounds like he’s just saying it just to give an answer, it would never work in a real life situation. But this here , the way he structured that last bit and said about selling them on the 35 and extra value not the full amount in money is genious.

    • @kennethsouthard6042
      @kennethsouthard6042 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @llh3025
      @llh3025 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you and your competition are offering the same product but your price is $35 higher you're focus is no longer on selling the product. The customer either just plain likes you $35 more or you're selling the extra value that $35 brings.

    • @Gobackto4chan
      @Gobackto4chan 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He’s saying since there’s a reason the customer hasn’t bought at $85 there’s some value they feel they were missing.
      So if the customer is willing to come check his(Grant’s) service out there’s obviously something attractive about what he offers. Reputation, professionalism, great hair, etc.
      That something(whatever it is) is worth the $35 difference the customer will be paying

    • @michaskup8023
      @michaskup8023 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Look for something beyond features - added value. It may be great cusotmer care, it may be brand and what that mean (green energy or something). You can sell it in many ways. Once in past I was selling TV's. When my friends were talking about technical details I was selling windows to the world. Can't afford trip to Brasil? You can watch carnaval in Rio De Janeiro. Never been on arctic pole? Well, take you cup and watch. It may be silly but try to sell not product but what it can change and remember that we all buy emotions one way or another.

    • @ifti93ahmed47
      @ifti93ahmed47 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@michaskup8023 the problem is the belief that price is a myth & customer objections are invalid. Had that been the case how on earth would some industries have more margin than others, why market saturation is real & economics old rule of thumb still applies (more supply, price drops else opposite). So saying that just because customer is complaining, it means he/she is a liar & so u can charge any price is absolutely false.

    If your selling a $20,000 product, give a $30,000 presentation! Always ask for the sale. Two words: Make sense?

      Oh really? Why is that?
      Let them explain, and flip the situation by showing that you're actually the better one. Now, if the other guy is indeed better than you and has a better price than you, there's nothing you can do lmao. Just accept it and move on.

      It's the same... Why, Why else??? Get all their cards (objections) on the table, then go to work.

    The reality is, the customer didn’t agree to do business with the $85 offering in the first place because they wanted to see if Grants prices would be better. In the end, a vast majority of customers are cheap and would go for the $85, to say the least.
