    KBS is amazing stuff, as good as POR and cheaper.

    I really like the video, Ill come back when I restore my old Jaguar's dual tanks. It looks like a great product! My two cents on the video, it might be better for demonstration purposes if you use a more internally corroded tank.

    I used it on my valiant charger fuel tank. I need to use it on my Ford xg van because the fuel tank I put in a few years back is rusted in thought it had fuel in it

    Dam Stacey you did an awesome job on the first two steps! Why, why, why didn't you explain more about the final step? Don't the sides and top of tank get coated too?? Don't you have to rotate it or are they suppose to just get the bottom of the tank?

    • @dalesongy2837

      What I meant was when rotating the final coat once it gets on the surface of a side or top is one coating enough. Isnt it going to run down sides or drip from the top or do i coat it a few times?

    Question,
    Are the yellow van, and blue car painted with KBS colors?
    It would be nice to see a real life example of the colors you have to offer.
    Thanks

      Go to KBS MAXX and look at the pictures. All of those vehicles were coated with KBS MAXX. www.kbs-coatings.com/kbs-maxx.html

    Does the tank sealer work for plastic tanks like the one showed at the beginning of the video? I know you can plastic weld that type of tank back together if it cracks, but this stuff would be nice for added assurance.

    • @Kbscoatings-us
      @Kbscoatings-us  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you working on rigid plastic tanks? Or flexible plastic tanks? Most are rigid, but we want to double check with you.

    • @subwoofer8865
      @subwoofer8865 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kbscoatings-us I believe both. I have older rigid tanks, and newer fuel cells that I think are flexible. I just know the new fuel cells are “rotationally-molded plastic” can’t find much else.

    • @Kbscoatings-us
      @Kbscoatings-us  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@subwoofer8865 The rigid plastic tanks can be sealed by the following: 1) Clean with KBS Klean. 2) Dust coat with Fusion SEP. 3) Seal with Tank Sealer. This can also work with flexible tanks, but our confidence level is not as pronounced as with rigid plastic tanks.

      Yes, absolutely. The KBS Tank Sealer System is very commonly used to prep and seal fiberglass tanks.
