- We were riding on Pirates of the Caribbean and the lights turned on... we were soon escorted out of the ride through an emergency exit on the ride and got to see some behind the scenes!
Sorry for the noise, I was a little excited in my situation !!!!
(Sorry for saying "screamed in excitement" twice in beginning.)

Floridafanatic28 Exactly! I would be so annoyed if I got the opportunity to be stuck on POTC and had to listen to this annoying banter instead of relaxing and pointing out the scenes and details that could otherwise be easily missed while on the ride in the dark.

Diego Castillo I know. I would love being stuck on that ride. I've been on it so many times and each time you notice something new. I would just take it all in.

I love it when there is a slight problem on a ride. (as long as people are safe). I have been able to see things that other people will never see. 2 years ago on the ride Forbidden Journey. The lights came on and I had a spider dangling over me. My daughter in a different car had the whopping willow looming over her. FUN! Thanks for sharing this footage.

Just went Disney a few days ago and had to unload from Space Mountain on a step ladder. I wasn’t mad, honestly felt like I got to see things others rarely do.

This was an interesting experience. I heard that years ago we had some friends that were on this ride when it actually broke down and everyone had to get out of the boats and walk out using various exits.
I loved this video and I also loved the commentary which made me feel their excitement even more. I look forward to the video of the next ride breakdown that all of you are on. Thank you so much for posting this.

What a rare treat! I got stuck at Madame Liota on Haunted mansion and they turned the work lights on, wow, all the secrets for that section exposed! Way Cool!

Coming back to this video because I truly love this ride, and I see all the negative comments. Why are these comments needed? So many of these comments are so unnecessarily rude. If it truly bothers you that much, STOP WATCHING. Chill tf out and go be happy.

You kept pointing things out like the sounds of the machinery, but uh,
if it isn't obvious to you, we can't hear that if you can't keep quiet for a few seconds.
I fault all the scripted "reality shows" most people think are real. In an out of the ordinary situation people chatter and worse. Nobody threw a tantrum and nobody got hurt "backstage." Thus
making you watch actual human nature when the unexpected happened. FYI the whole place was built up to make it easier for crew or "cast" to work behind the scenes. Tunnels weren't dug, areas were built upon attractions as they fell out of favor. Disney world is hooked up with cameras. Don't think you're alone in the bushes or behind places. On Highschool day they shut down the monorail. So people don't hook up on it.
I go to Disneyland a lot and the only ride I have ever broke down on is I think Peter pan but I don't remember but this is really cool and I am always hoping to brake down on a ride like this. You are very lucky
We had this in Paris while we were on the highest level in the building, between the lifthill and the first drop. Had quite some stairs to walk down, and all around the back of the building haha. It’s a nice experience, but it does ruin a little bit of the magic

In Disney world Florida I got stuck in the pirates of the Caribbean ride. First the lights came on. Then the animatronics shut off. Then the sound shut off. At this point I was terrified, as we had been there for a good 45-50 minutes. My friend was with me for her birthday and it was the first time she had ever been in WDW . the cast members actually pushed the boat into a place where we could get off. We got a free fastpass, free ice cream and a free water bottle. She probably liked this ride more the actual ride. I know I did!

Same happened to me on that ride at Disney world it took a half an hour for me to get off the ride.

I got walked off splash mountain not to long ago and winnie the pooh dark ride on the same day. It was amazing, but was told not to record as soon as a cast member came to get me and my friends, it's crazy you got all this footge
So crazy we rode on the fourth of August and the same thing happened... How strange
Not really maybe a part or parts are ending their service life. Fix it going into offseason or set up a kluge and let it limp along.

I remember on it’s a small world when the boat stopped at the Hawaiian area with the kangaroo animatronic shut down
I was just there vibing while giggling at the kangaroo honestly… This is my favorite ride and I know it may seem creepy but I tend to laugh at whenever animatronics break honestly

I got stuck at this exact part yesterday, however the ride was able to continue like nothing happened.
years ago i was on this ride and it got stuck. they had cast members with thigh high boots wading through the water to get people off the ride. then we walked around a back area and they unceremoniously opened a door and we were back in the park
It is interesting to see it with the lights on.
It must of been cool seeing the ride on in the light but having to get off the ride must not of been fun !

What went wrong
I remember the Boats Got stuck at Walt Disney World and they made 7 employees push the Boat and To just keep a Smile on there face, that is true Dedication Right There.

So what did guest relations offer you? The ice cream CM said to be sure to stop by there.
They offered a free fast pass for all of us at whatever park we were going to the next day

I went on small world and it broke down on July 4
This ride breaks down all the time. I was there in Dec 2017 and it was breaking down all day. It would be nice if they overhauled the ride.
Happened to me as a kid on splash mountain & Snow White Lol creepy af. We had to walk off both rides . Splash had steps to go down and Snow White we just walked out the back door LOL.
Try being stuck on the broken down “it’s a small world “ ride in Disney world for a few hours. And having to listen to the singing the entire time Lol.
I was stuck on Haunted Mansion, and after, we got fastpasses to Seven Dwarves Mine Train (LONG LINES) and ice cream!

See if you can come to California once the coronavirus lifts, and you'll find a DIFFERENT Pirates experience, and I don't be PC, I mean traidito0nally twice as long (I grew up with the DL one but went on WDW in 1995..) Now that DL has reopened, I went on the ride again!

Wow they didn't tell you anything bout video taping backstage this happen to me on splash mountain and a guy recorded everything like you kinda did i did too and at the end just when we bout the enter back in the park a worker caught him and made him delete the video i acted like i was texting
Yeah they didn't say anything to me, I tried to hide it just to make sure but it was pretty obvious of me and they didn't say anything
