    Never owned a router lift, so I was contemplating between the Jessem Mast-R-Lift II and Sawstop. Because of this video, I chose the Sawstop because of the mounting. Sawstop uses (2) holes on the sides of the plate, rather than at each corner like every other lift. Didn't want to spend $400+ on the Jessem and have to drill holes.

    • @BlakePizzey
      @BlakePizzey  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and good call... It really sucks lol. I have it snugged in there with the set screws and it's quite heavy with a router in it. Don't think it's going anywhere but I sure wish it was secured with some fasteners!

    I did have a question… have an issue with ducting my dryer. The builder used a very long run and I’m trying to correct it. Do you have a recommendation of what to watch to get ideas? I get lint build up and prob some condensation issues. I live in southern California, so the thermal issues aren’t as harsh as your climate zone.

One question, u mention your 7" ducting but the calculations done for your system were less than 7, closer to 6 I believe so u suggested rounding down for max efficiency. Why did u decide to go with 7 if that's the case? Thanks, from Michigan. Keep going with the channel. It's gonna blow up!

I just ordered one myself, that's how I found your channel. You mentioned that you increased the dust port size from 5 to 6 inches. How did you accomplish that? Self made hack or is there a third party wider flange available?
