I got one of these seats in 2023 for a ride down to Nairobi. Same layout but lots of free seats so I moved to a window. A very well spent $250 for sure.
Great video review of the Air France 787 PE! Planning travel soon on this flight, this was very helpful. Do you have an opinion of where you'd like to sit in PE, like front or back ?
I mean all catering is terrible since covid. Lots of airlines downsized and cut costs. Especially United and AA to name a couple. I also don’t set my expectations too high because of it
The catering on BA was like the standard of Club Europe which I thought was fine. TBh the food was the last of my thoughts. I took my Mum to Dubai for a week and since It was my treat, I booked Economy ( she's tiny ) so I could splash out on the hotel. BIG mistake. The outward flight LHR to Dubai was just plain hell. I hadn't flown economy for blimey 20 years. When we checked in for the return home I asked to upgrade to Club but it was full, so I took two seats in PE which was actually really great for the money - as I remember it was £130 each. Principal of my comment is - NEVER travel economy unless you are like fleeing a war zone and secondly, even if you have a tiny Mum don't be mean and pay for Business Class.

I’m not a fan of bulk heads. I like a little more privacy. So I would say anything but the front of PE. That’s just me though.

First flight ever for a 787 was December 2009. Crazy to think coming up on 15 years
