We fly Aer Lingus regularly from Toronto to Dublin. Their business product is excellent but we also find economy very good. My husband is 6’ 1” and finds the economy seats are fine for leg room. Staff are consistently friendly in our experience. Hope you enjoyed Ireland.
Thank you for your really great video on Aer Lingus from Denver to Dublin. I thought it was a good flight at a really great price. Food looked good and the Northern Lights were indeed a treat. When I immigrated to Canada, a long time ago, I flew Shannon into Montreal on a very old Boing 707. It was a great flight except for a weather delay in Shannon. I did fly several trips home on their 707s. Always was a pleasure. 🌠🍀🇨🇦
@@mattsmoments2 Thank you for your reply. Back then, getting to fly on a 707 was a dream come true. I had worked at an International Airport before I left Ireland. Loud when taking off and across the Atlantic that night, there was a terrible storm and the plane "rattled" beyond belief. There were only 30 passengers plus crew on Board. Food was out of this world and it was like something out of an Agatha Christie Movie. Crew was spectular. Everyone told each other why we were on this flight. I was by far the youngest and everyone thought it so romantic that I was travelling to Canada to meet my Fiancee, who was an Irish Musician and we were getting married. It was December 21st 1972. Flying has changed so much since then. I hope you have a great week. I look forward to your further posts. I liked that you did not complain about anything on your flight. So many youtubers complain is their middle name !!!!
Great flight report. I love the socks. We didn't get a close-up of the pin. 15:47 I love red-eye flights. More time in the day to do what you have to, then sleep wake up in a new country. How was the food? Service? Seat comfort?
You’re right about that. Red eyes are great for that reason. Load up on a lot of coffee in my case. lol I thought the food was above average, service was standard and friendly, and seats weren’t anything different than most economy long haul seats. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching
Minneapolis was not a new flight for them, it was the last one they brought back from its suspension during the pandemic Hope you enjoyed your time in Ireland Matt! I spent a month there last year, exploring the whole island and I had a blast. I just completed a trip this summer that was six weeks long. I spent two weeks crossing Canada, where I took the Via Rail Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver. Then I flew to Australia for a month where I took two luxury passenger trains four times across the entire continent. Those trains are called, The Ghan and the Indian Pacific. I actually was on the train across Canada at the exact time you took this flight from Denver to Dublin, Matt. This is a great big world and it’s fun traveling to see it yourself. I’m actually flying back to Europe again in April. I met a beautiful lady on the train crossing Canada, and we really hit it off. We become good friends and are planning to meet up again on her home turf in Germany. I went there last year, but I haven’t seen much. She’s gonna be my own tour guide 😊. You never know who you’re going to meet while you’re traveling.
@@desmo9159 I know thats why I asked they were selling snacks back in 90s on their domestic flights can you imagine when everybody was top notch back in the days!
@@mattsmoments2 Perhaps, seems to me though that Air Fungus has a sizable portion of the US market, JFK, BOS, ORD, SFO, LAX, IAD, SEA, EWR, BDL, MCO, MIA, MSP, CLE (another oddball destination). @cameraman655 I don’t know their image in Europe but places in the United States love having random international flights to Europe no matter who it is. Turkish started in DEN too one month after Aer Lingus did. The airport there is constantly attracting international carriers.
Dublin is the 5th busiest airport for transatlantic travel in Europe now, so a lot of people connecting. There’s rumours of Indianapolis, Columbus, Nashville and St. Louis being added next year

I appreciate the kind words thank you.
Love the socks!
Since I posted today I decided to wear them at work

I love that yall have had great experiences on Aer Lingus. Thank you for sharing your story.
And Toronto is going 2 daily with Aer Lingus next year!

Wow Great review of this route!! fantastic coverage and video of that beautiful plane. that old livery is great. The new livery not so much.
I love the old livery and happy they used it on that route when I flew
Great video, Matt!

Awesome. I've been looking for a video of Aer Lingus in Denver for a while now. Does anyone know how well the flights have been performing so far?
That’s a very good question. I’m curious how they did over the summer.
It’s going 6 weekly next summer so looks to be doing well!
@@James-re3lz love hearing that. Hopefully a successful route
I would like to see Aer Lingus fly in too Phoenix Sky Harbor!
Aer Lingus recently added TSA Precheck. It was announced in July 2024. It may not be in effect yet.
Thank you. That’s good info to know.
It is but you have to call them to add the number to the booking.
I love the vid
Thank you!
FOR A FIRST FLIGHT , THE DRINKS SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLIMENTARY ALONG WITH A BETTER BREAKFAST DISH...
Oh definitely. I’m with ya there lol. As for the breakfast if had far worse. This wasn’t too bad.
do they served alcoholic drinks free of charge? or they charge for it?
Alcoholic drinks are not free like on some international flights
Aerlingus ...free drinks ....😂😂😂 your lucky to get a seat
@@desmo9159 I know thats why I asked they were selling snacks back in 90s on their domestic flights can you imagine when everybody was top notch back in the days!
DRINKS HAD TO BE PAID FOR
No....Alcoholics are NOT served free of charge. Try Fiddlers Green Airlines....daily flights to Tir na n-Og!!!
Dude how many flyer miles do you rack up a year?😂 keep'm com'n Nef-U 👍
I tend to fly close to 90 flights and 100k actual miles flown a year.
Why Denver…?
Denver is now one of the busiest airports in the USA, is one reason. lol it’s a good market

So everyone in Ireland can go skiing in Colorado, doh!
I can now fly direct to DIA without having to change aircraft in either Europe or in the U.S.

Thinking on flying it.. is it worth it, compared to Qatar or emirates? Watched the video still can’t make up my mind
Great question and I can’t say much about Qatar yet but I have been on Emirates and I would choose Emirates economy over Aer Lingus Economy.
@ okay thank you! You should do a Qatar review, solid airline!
@@mattsmoments2 : But you'd choose Aer Lingus fare over Emirates fare.. That's the difference.
about a ticket price
If Cunard Lines merged with Aer Lingus, the name would be "Cun-Lingus"
Oh goodness 🤣 smh
But the merger would leave investors with a bad taste in their mouths. ..
Touché lol
this is scare, my cat sad

Aer lingus is.no longer the national airline of Ireland. Might as well have british airways or ibetiea performing the flight
