Sansa's shadow of a smile at the end is very satisfying. But my favorite part is Tyrion's interaction with the dragons. First, he elides a question about how he knows so much about them, and then he answers it, to the dragons themselves.
Jon’s best moment and the most satisfying death for the most hated character in the entire series Ramsay Bolton, in my opinion, thanks guys
Sansa smirk at the end walking away from the dungeon…. So hard earned and well deserved
Grey Worm chopping on those two masters leaving the third in the middle is one of my favorite moments in GOT.
The Battle of the Bastards aired the same night of game 7 of the NBA playoffs when the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors. We live in NE Ohio so watched the comeback game first. I swear I thought I was going to have a stroke by the end of the night! The anxiety and then joy was crazy for 5 hours straight.
Don't you just hate these episodes where its all talk and no action.....jk lol!

Daenerys and Tyrion taking out the slavers and Jon and Sansa taking out the trash, we love to see it!
Although they did my man Lord Manderly dirty, refusing to fight for the Starks? Lord Wyman would never! "The north remembers, Lord Davos. The north remembers, and the mummer's farce is almost done. My son is home."
My favourite is when Bronn asks Jamie: "Do you hear that?"
IMO best meta scene of GoT is the cavalry charge at Jon with the music rising to crescendo. Every fan eventually feels like Jon in this scene, except that the battle is simply surviving the onslaught the show makes on our emotions & fav characters. Opinion includes season 8, which many fans choose to treat separately.
GREAT episode!! Jon at his most badass. But my favorite episode is still “Hardhome”.
Damn, what a brilliant show.
Hardhome is epic. For me this one cemented my appreciation for Jon because I was very slow coming around to liking him as a character. It turned for me once he died and by this episode then he became my top 3

This was my favorite episode on the night it came out... Until a week later... LOL
It's close but 6X10 is 1st then 6X9 2nd I think 7X7 may be third or 4X10 those are close too. It's so hard to pick a best since some of the best scenes ever were in otherwise not as good episodes. But those 4 had everything!
BTW Watching Rickon run was the most frustrating thing EVER... LOL in fact right after this episode premiered, the actor that played him tweeted "Shoulda zig zagged"
Did y'all catch the callback to S3 E10? ... Dany is held aloft by the people, Jon struggles to remain aloft over hundreds of bodies... I love it!
There’s The Red Wedding, The Long Night and BATTLE OF THE BASTARDS. This is the best of the best of GOT episodes. Yay. 😁❤️
Not sure what it is but kit harington seems like the most badass man on the planet. That scene standing alone horses galloping toward him the music my fave scene. This episode was my fave with 6x10 my 2nd

I'm a sick person because my favorite episode is 3x9 The Rains of Castamere even though watching it breaks my heart every time.
Definitely my most favorite episode of the whole series…I remember seeing the recap of this episode where they modeled this battle after the Battle of Gettysburg with all the bodies piled up & the Battle of Cannae with that horseshoe boxed in formation Hannibal used vs. Rome. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Season 6 was epic.
I have seen the entire Game of Thrones at least 3 times, with some episodes even more, like this one. Despite all of this, I thoroughly love watching and listening to you discuss each episode and guessing what may happen in later episodes. I just love your enthusiasm and dedication in giving insight into a particular show and insight into yourselves. Thank you.
Interesting fact about Rickon's death. GRRM was foreshadowing his death from the very beginning. His direwolf's name was Shaggydog, which is also a writing term; "A shaggy dog story is an extremely long-winded anecdote characterized by extensive narration of typically irrelevant incidents and terminated by an anticlimax." Rickon's story was always going to amount to nothing

My favourite is the next one! Winds of winter. Starting with the piano music, used for the first time in the series…. All those monumental events happening in one episode.

This is a bit late but Drogo is bigger than his brothers because unlike them, he never was locked up. He roamed the world freely all his life while Rhaegal and Viserion were held in a closed room once they started growing bigger.
My thoughts on the episode:
- 9:14 Dragon Camgasm
- These are some of my favorite Dany scenes, but I totally forgot they even happened in this episode with everything else that goes down
- Rickon's death = one of the most heartbreaking in the entire series, because there was so much hope for him to survive
- Cam freaking Zay out with the fake Jon death foreshadowing LOL
- Cool shots
- "Excuse me, pardon me, just making my way to the center of the people circle. Don't mind me"
- Sure, the Mountain can rip a guy's head off, but can he rip a guy in half with the same passion as Wun Wun?
- YES, YEEES, YESS, YEEES, YEESSS, YEEEESSS! (27:36-27:57 sounds filthy with only the audio and no context)
- I know she's been through a lot, but I always found Sansa kind of meh. Not anymore...

I don't know if you still read comments under this video (loved the reaction btw!) but Drogon is the dragon with the fastest growth rate ever recorded. He is only at most 6 years old here, and about as big as some 50 year old dragons of the past. Dragon growth is unlimited, and with his growth rate he'll become the biggest to have ever lived.

This was probably my third favorite. Season 7 episode 4 was definitely my favorite for reasons I can't say without spoiling. However the cinematography, effects along with the tension put it on top. That and that it put it in the Guinnesse book of world records for one of their effects.

6x10 has simply one of the best musical pieces ever composed. It fit the action perfectly.
One of the best battle scenes better than the opening scene in Gladiator, maybe.

Joss Whedon loves the continuous shot. In BtVS, he did one that lasted for several minutes in S3. In his DVD voice over he explains that he had that luxury as show runner, because he knew he wasn't going to cut any of it.

One thing in defense of Joffery. If you think about it...when his "father" King Robert was dying he was at his bedside literally traumatized and lost in grief. He went off on Tywin and was boasting about his "dad" being a hero...he brutalized that singer after mocking the King's death. And when Marjory was giving him a bit of "good guy" status with the people he really was getting into that feeling of being loved. He was clearly an entitled sadistic narcissist thanks to his mom, and the power went to his head from an early age but he may have been redeemable at certain points, even later on..maybe.... But Ramsey, never. Ramsey was just a complete psychopath. Fearless and great at strategy but completely a psycho monster. Both incredible actors.

John while a good person is a horrible commander. He threw away his whole plan because he let Ramsey manipulate him just like Sansa warned him. He deserved to lose the battle
This is a key point in the series. Jon is too much like Ned Stark and lets his emotions and his honor get in the way of good leadership.
Also, Sansa purposefully goads Jon before the battle into admitting that their cause is hopeless. This was intended for the ears of Ramsay's spies. Remember that Ramsay wins by default if all he does is stay behind the walls of Winterfell. Siege is impossible because of Winter. By confessing out loud that they can't win, Ramsay commits his troops outside the wall so that the Knights of Vale can then come in and turn the tide.
Get to 6x10 pronto!
Winds of Winter is my #1 with Battle of the Bastards closely following.
Yeah, this episode is my all-time favorite of GOT. You saw both Daenerys and Jon win their respective battles. Battle of the Bastards rivals any battles in a feature-length film. Braveheart quality. Plus, finally that Ramsay Bolton dies!

6 seasons done and Zay keeps looking the screen that has Cameron's video for 1, 2 or 3 seconds at a time, missing important things like when Wun Wun ripped his hand through the spike.
why is Zay looking at Cameron's face so much every few seconds is beyond my comprehension. Cameron never takes his eyes from the screen. Cameron's face barely changes his expression during the entire episode. I don't get it...

Zay! You missed so much looking away and talking, you even missed Sansa’s smirk at the end. Sansa and Littlefinger to the rescue was ruined by spoiling. Both on their horses watching the cavalcade, chef’s kiss. All I’m saying, settle in to ep 10. Sometimes you need to be present in the story, don’t fail me now. Maybe watch again off camera, you’ll be surprised what you missed Zay. 🤷🏼♀️

I don't know... Even though I loved that episode AF, never in my top 10. No spoiler, but it's not even my favorite after 6x09 ;) 3x09, 4x02, 1x09, 2x09, 3x04, 3x10, 1x10, 4x08, 4x10, 5x08, 6x05 are all ahead of it IMO ;) Well, without naming any episode after 6x09 !
