    Remember when Lyanna Mormont said that thing about every man from Bear Island fighting with the strength of ten mainlanders? If you notice, the shield that Jon picks up to block those final three arrows from Ramsay was a Bear Island shield. That means, one of those 62 men made it all the way to inside Winterfell, before he fell. :) That was a nice touch, I thought. Over 2000 men, and 62 of them, and they were clearly great fighters, enough for at least one, maybe more to make it through that massacre and go all the way to the final bit.

    It was all over when Jon’s army got surrounded and Sansas stubbornness led to unnecessary casualties withholding information and Jon’s mistake charging without a plan, this battle was a bloody mess but it was awesome at the same time 👍

      Please, how in the hell is she to blame for him screwing up his own battle plan ? After she warned him of literally everything that happened before it did, and he dismissed her just because he had fought before and knew better... if anyone is to blame for all the deaths is Jon, and only him, he jumped the gun, the others had no choice but to back him up otherwise he would be dead even before the battle started.
      First of all, Sansa couldn't know for sure that Littlefinger would show up, she did tell him to fuck off earlier, he could just not come at all, the guy is not reliable and sold her to Ramsay, no reason for her to trust him; if she had told Jon, the information could leak and Ramsay would divise another plan to beat them all the same, since, as we all saw, he was a superior strategist; Jon could also refuse LFs help; then, she saw how, after SHE convinced Jon to fight, he made all the (wrong) decisions and didn't consult anything with her; his strategies of provoking Ramsay were bullshit exactly because he didn't knew the guy like she did, he probably had his entire battle plan figure out before the meeting was over, right after Jon proposed one in one combat, Jon' was never a match to Ramsay's sick and twisted wits and Jon was ridiculously easy to read; she would have lost the element of surprise wich was what gave them the victory, and finally, she was the one who suffered in Ramsay's hands alone for a long of time, having the chance to do something herself to beat him, get her home back and finally kill him, she would not throw that away just to be completely honest to her brother, specially after he didn't even trusted her judgment in the first place.
      She was right not to tell him anything and they won because of it.

      I think largely Jon knows winter is coming, like it came for Stannis's army. Also the fact the Ramsay is willing to meet them in the field, Jon believes that it was their only chance, even if it's a small chance. Ramsay could of easily camped inside Winterfell.

    • @samantharamos276

      @@ScreenBusters Yes, exactly, that's why I think, she never told him anything also, Jon is an honourable guy, and he measures others by his standars, to him is natural to think that way, applying a straight forward logic like : Ramsay agreed to meet, battles have been won before against the odds... the thing is, in this scenario he didn't knew Ramsay at all, he could've never predicted his strategy of baiting him in with Rickon, and later killing his own men to barricade Jon's army with a wall of bodies and them surround them; Sansa had the upper hand here because not only she knew how Ramsay's mind worked, but she had learned a great deal from everything she's seen and been trough, she learned to think strategically, and to analize her opponents, plus she was prepared to do whatever it takes, Jon wasn't; in fact, he wasn't even there completely after his ressurection, he only became truly alive again when he fought to breathe trough the bodies and the sea of men smashed together; winter came, but it was Sansa who brought it lol

    One tiny thing that i can’t help but hone in on every time - 14:22 WunWun is waaay behind Jon, in a sea of forces, blocked by the tide of Vale cavalry, but by 14:26 he’s at Jon’s side. Even if we imagine there’s a minute or so cut there, no way could WunWun have cut through all of that to get to him! Not a big deal, it’s really the tiniest of issues (there are much bigger ones to worry about to be sure)...it’s just something that always catches my eye.

    I wish Jon and his men had trebuchets in this battle. Ramsay ordered his men to shoot arrows knowing his own men could get killed by them what a psycho. The giant didn't have a weapon which was dumb. RIP One One (the giant).

      Royal_Chief_ Architect people who defend Sansa don’t understand fully what Sansa has done, I would rather follow Jon then Sansa if I knew the shit she pulled just because of her feelings and shit, she had an opportunity at the war council and she made her choice

    • @roseofthegarden_
      @roseofthegarden_ 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@lorddeath6300 No, people who defend Sansa actually look deeper than surface level with her character. Meanwhile, there are people who still can't grasp the basic concept that Jon lost the fight, and that had nothing to do with Sansa not telling him about the Vale. You simply cannot accept that Jon made a huge mistake that cost him the fight.
      You'd all rather blame Sansa, its preferable to you, than to admit Jon's not perfect and makes dumb choices sometimes.
      You think the Vale would've made a difference, when in reality, Jon still would've fallen into Ramsay's trap and then they actually *would* have lost the fight because the Vale wouldn't have been a sneak attack.

    Every time I see this... Everyone is like "YES SANSA!" But I'm just thinking... Why didn't she tell Jon she sent a raven for backup and that she was coming.
    She basically screwed him over and let his men die so she could be the "hero" and come in at the last minute.

    • @littlelordfuckleroy3822
      @littlelordfuckleroy3822 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Because as we all know Littlefinger isn't exactly the most reliable guy. They couldn't base their battle plans on the off chance that he would actually show up. Ramsey was a superior strategist to Jon, and the only way they actually won in the end was the element of surprise.

  • @Royal_Chief_Architect
    @Royal_Chief_Architect 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    one more thing I'd like to mention! Sansa tell Jon, look he don't fall for traps. That's why both sides were standing there waiting. But then Ramsay goes oh I'll make him come to me first, and pulls the Rickon. Then Jon, supposedly baited, tries to save his brother. He fails, but meanwhile he is right here in the middle and Ramsay wants to end it so he sends his Calvary, thus had Jon's side not run the moment he ran forward, they might have had the upper hand like Jon planned, they would have run in to slaughter them and our team might have gotten the upper hand. Alas, Jon did not convey this to anyone, because more than likely Jon didn't plan this, lol. So yeah he still fucked up but we could have made his and Rickons sacrifice work. Especially since "Queen" Sansa was planning on using them as bait anyway... >.>

    • @roseofthegarden_
      @roseofthegarden_ 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Right. Sansa was trying to use her own family as bait. That makes complete sense for her character and her arc.
      Just admit you paid no attention to her storylines and be done with it.

    • @Royal_Chief_Architect
      @Royal_Chief_Architect 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Garden Rose SHE DID. Haha haha, you didn’t even bother looking at the evidence so please. When you get your head out of her ass find me. Other than that get read. I have facts, like her own lips apologizing to her brother in the show for not mentioning baelishes forces. That’s sounds like a Sansa was wrong to me. But y’all pating her head like oh no baby you did not wrong he’s just stupid. Y’all won’t even let the character grow. Stop handing her shit and let her learn through the mistakes she does make. People who tend to be a characters type tend to not understand the wrong that character does. Meanwhile I can say in a heartbeat all the Starks tend to do stupid shit, like Robb, and Arya and Ned, and oh look Sansa. Jon is a Snow so he’s on a separate list. But him too. And I don’t feel any way about admitting that. You all on the other hand got this bitch as y’all avatar cause she has....I’m sorry what has she done for the good of anyone besides herself?
