In this video while I go over how to use an LG washing machine I talk about the various wash cycles, settings, temperature as well as other features such as delay wash and steam wash with this particular LG washing machine. Though, I go over many functions of this particular LG washing machine, it is imperative and a requirement that you read the owners manual for your particular LG washing Machine machine that you will use and abide by it.

Thanks for the demo, I got the washer late October and my daughter had been doing the laundry. So today i thought I'd give it a try. The first wash I kinda played with cycles and guessing. I had an whole 97 minutes to wash laundry, so I decided I'd look on Facebook for a tutorial. Yours was very helpful, I now have a 20 min wash cycle and I think I'm going to love this.

I thinkk for the delay you can setit to wash when you are going out and have it wash around when you will come back that way you just passthe clothes to the drier without them getting damp and ickyright when u come back... ive been wanting this !

Hi! I have the same washer but what I don’t like is that the Detergent and the Softener both go into the wash at the same time, is there a way to change that?

Hi! Unfortunately, some models don't allow you to separate the cycles. You might need to manually add the softener later.

Are the panel buttons locked? If they are, you might want to hold the lock button for three seconds to get it to unlock.
Anyone know how to use the spin only cycle only on this washer? I cannot figure it out for the life of me. I washed pillows and I’m trying to get the extra moisture out of the pillows so I just wanna spin them one more time.

What are those bumps on rubber of the drum?? I am seeing this on every lg model and it concerns me over hygene, when you put dirty clothes they tpuch those bumps and after washing they pick up that dirt from that bumps that stick. Annoying. I like smooth rubber on washing machine.

What is the "sportswear" cycle? Sounds like the option I need, just curious what makes this cycle unique? Thanks in advance.
@it405 Usually sportswear clothing is heavily saturated with sweat, oil and grime, the sportswear setting is designed to get rid of that.

@@DIYPinto Thanks for the response, so what does the specific cycle do that release the grime, sweat, and oil. It sounds like it just does a few more rinses and agitation? I am curious since Normal cycle should do the same function, but obviously if LG is goi g to make a cool cycle like "sportswear", how does this work differently from rest of the other cycles? Ty
@@it405 When you turn the dial to a particular setting (for example, "sportswear") it shows you on the right side what the various settings are going to be for that choice(so the water temperature, soil level, etc. are automatically set for you.) You can set those yourself and you can override the defaults. They're just giving you a quick way to access their pre-sets. So turn to "sportswear," see what settings it gives you, and go with those or adjust the settings more to your liking.
Iv had this washer since 2019 regret it, it is ridiculous how many times they have come to fix it always errors an dosent wash properly

We got ours on Christmas day used. It was one that was taken back obviously and then reworked. So far we love it.

How do i rinse and spin only
Hi! Look on the front of the washer on the very right hand side. From top to bottom it says:
turbo wash,
cold wash, extra rinse
rinse and spin.
Push the button that says rinse and spin.
I’m think that should do it.

How do i rinse and spin only?
Look at the front of your washer.
On the very right side, you will see where it says from top to bottom:
turbo wash
Cold wash
Extra rinse
Rinse and spin
Push the button that says roots and spin on the right hand the fourth down

For spin only, after turning on the machine, just tap on the spin button until you get to the desired speed. It starts from 1 (which is drain only) to 1200/1400.
Start the cycle.
Hope this helps.
I am yet to discover how to get to rinse+spin with buttons. We have to download program through app anyway.

@MichelleEstrada I just got mine today and did a normal load “Cotton” it took 4hrs!!!! And the washing was not as drained as my top loader! I’m worried 😟 I already miss my top loader

Even in my unit (India) it doesn't smell nice compared to my relatives' IFB and Bosch machines. I normally don't put softener to cloths but if my family members did, they pour a bit more so that they smell fresh. The machine indeed doesn't utilise the softener to the fullest.

It’s so it senses the clothes fabric and weight and so it can correct the time and reduce power and water usage with that. It’s literally shown on the front of the washer man.

Underloading, as is shown here, is wasteful and can cause an imbalance during the spin cycle.
Your wrong the machine calculates as it weighs the load
This is bad advice. The LG washer uses AI technology to determine the weight to prevent an imbalance.

I've tried my new LG stackable, front-loading washing machine twice. Both tome, instead of just finishing the was, the letters OE appear on the digital screen, while the extra rinse icon blinks and the door stays locked.
When I press the ⏯️ button again, the screen says 39.
I liked your video but it hasn't solved my particular problem. Everything's so computerized these days. Oy vey 😤

This is a family friendly site bro and we don't do that with our machines. But if you are trying to start your washer, press the start/pause button after making your cycle selection, it usually looks like this ⏯️
