"Our faith in God is not to be based on the circumstances of life." - Pastor Cliffe. Absolutely turns my faith on its head (IN A GOOD WAY)!

@speedywilliams34 I'm 40 years old and have struggled to accept why God seemingly answered "NO" to some of my prayers (things that I believed would make me truly happy). I may have to wait until the day before My Lord to ask why. But one thing I've learned is that in order to have a relationship with God, you've got to praise him through life's valleys as well as the mountain tops. I ditched my faith for Atheism a while back when I thought God didn't care about me. Now, realizing I was wrong, I return to God even though my life isn't going 100% the way I'd want. That's not the point of a relationship with God (like a genie lamp). So here I am, not just to ask God for things but to understand how I can use this messed up life to be a good servant.

I am a young American who is still figuring out who I am and what life I am meant to live. And one thing I thought for some time is that I’m an atheist and did not believe in god. But a few days ago I saw one of these videos and it completely changed my perspective. I’m still young and I am still learning, but I now truly believe in god.
Thank you for changing me and helping me find my faith

Ive been living with so much hate anger in my life, it was eating me up frim the inside out it reflected on me as a friend, father and husband.
My quality of life was declining and mentally distroying me.
Im a very spiritual person and have experienced and witnessed things that are un explainable.
How ever i was an atheist.
Few months ago i was given a bible, and had a thought, if ive experienced the things i have then who am i to say that god isnt real.
Hiw ever i always had a problem with religion itself main due to the corruption in the churchs.
I hurd the word FAITH, and something inside clicked.
I did extensive research and starting reading the bible, I was lucky enough to have some fantastic friends to help me guide me to god and help me eith my understandings.
Cliffes words have also been a tremendous help to guide me.
I still have a lot to learn and alot to read about.
But im so grateful for my journey so far.
To all those believers in Jesus and god that i have done wrong in my selfish past i sincerely apologise.

Relativism is so self-defeating. How do you stay consistent when you claim it is a problem to say someone who believes something else about the world is wrong. You end up doing to very thing you say is wrong. Relativism is a way to assert arbitrary opinions without any supporting arguments, it’s indefensible moral insanity. The moral sanity taught by Jesus Christ and the prophets have built the civilization we have today that allows mutual understanding, human value, and justice. Read the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and the preamble to the Constitution if you want the source for working social contracts and the blessings of liberty. Liberty is won through discipline and virtue as described by Christ not reveling in arbitrary self-destructive behaviors.

    • @MsLaetitia26
      @MsLaetitia26 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @KM-ud2twGalatiens 1:8
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!
      The Torah disagree with you.
      Zeccharia 2:10
“Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord."
When did your Allah came and lived among us??
      .....
"Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me."
Who is speaking here? God! So the Lord of Host will send God.
That's in the Torah my Friend.
And what do the Bible say?
Jesus claimed to be God in human form. He claimed to have been sent by the Father who is also God.
To back that up let's go back to the Torah.
"Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people,"
Which prove that the Lord of Host is also God!
Psaulm 100:3 :"Know that the Lord Himself is God"
But it gets worse for you.
      Zechariah 12:10
"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn."
So when did your Allah died??
in conclusion, Jesus who is our Lord(God)who was sent by the Lord of Hosts (who is our Father), was pierced and mourned for.
Like Jesus died on the cross and we mourned for him.
      This is our Trinity.
The Lord who is God was sent by the Lord of Hosts. The Lord poured out his Spirit (The Holy Spirit) on His people causing them to mourn.
Anytime we see the LORD pour out a spirit in the Old Testament, it's always His Spirit being poured out (Ezekiel 39:29 and Joel 2:28-29). So, here the LORD is saying that he will soon pour his Spirit out upon his people. They will be a Spirit-filled people.
When you sin, you sinned against God first.
And that's the beauty of the Gospel.
Look at Zechariah 13:1, "On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness."
Those who mourn the sins that led to the cross will experience the cleansing work of the cross. The cross turns our mourning into laughter, tears into joy.
      Which is summarize beautifully.
In John 3:16, the most important passage from the Bible:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If you refuse that then you have rejected the whole message of the Bible.
And you'll have to answer the Lord Jesus one day.
And Jesus said: On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
How did people get save in the old testament??
      - God's promise to Abraham that all people of earth would be blessed through following his example of trusting God's promise and being justified by repentant faith.
So you got saved by trusting in God's promise. What was the promise?
"I will give you this land for your descendants. I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you. I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky."
But how is God gonna do that??
      Zechariah 2:10
“Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord.
      The Apostles understood it perfectly.
Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
What is the Law? It's the Will of God.
All of this goes back to the promise God made to Abraham. That's how He's fulfilling His promise.

I’m saying thing because as a Christian, born and raised.. it’s also a question I have encountered and even asked myself. How do we know that one religion is right and another is wrong? How do we explain to someone who is Muslim or Buddhist that their God is not read and ours is? Cliffe did a wonderful job at circling around that question many times without ever giving a direct answer… I would love to have an answer 🙏🏼🫶🏻

What you say is not true and the reason why it's not true. And I'm not saying you're lying. Maybe you don't understand why it's not true, but it's actually very simple.
The subject matter that cliff was asked about is directly spoke of in the Bible. It's not hidden, it's not subjective, it's not secretive, it's not a matter of opinion, it's actually stated in the Bible. So either a as I said, as a pastor he doesn't know his Bible or b, as I also said, he doesn't want to tell the truth, not because he wants to lie, but because he's scared to tell the truth because he wants to have them listen to a certain point of view or way because he wants to try to WIN them Over to Christ and I get it. I understand he wants to win them over to Christ but if they ask an answer he has to give the truth. Booth not not say I don't know okay if he knows he needs to speak it if he doesn't know that's right. Be honest, but then you should know his Bible. Because the answer was right there. And if you aren't the scriptures, John, I'll give it to you.

Furthermore, sometimes people just don't realize what they really should say. Either they're afraid or they're confused. Sometimes satan puts a head around them. So they won't say it because they don't want the truth out. But I can't judge cliff for the reason. I'm only judging his fruit. I can't judge his heart just his fruit. I hope you understand that phrase I've explained that to you before. Either way, I'm still gonna pray for you that you wake up because time is running out and I'm not saying that it's a scary tactic, as Jason always says, we never know and we're gonna die. I’m not Cliffe, but I may be able to help.
You can be sure that Jesus listens to your prayers. He promises to do so in Matthew 7:7.
“Continue to ask, and God will give to you. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you.”
Of course, if you pray things outside of God’s Will, those prayers won’t be answered. Like, “Hey, God, kill this dude I don’t like!” We know praying stuff like that is wrong because Jesus teaches to love your enemy. But if you ask God for help in a time of crisis, He is sure to hear you. Jesus is a man of His word.
And it will be hard to believe it sometimes. I’ve had times where I didn’t believe it myself. But God is so, so faithful. I hope this helps.

its interesting to see how hard it is for people to understand the idea of creation. God didnt "come from anywhere" and God was not created. God is creation. The very question of what created God is a paradox because God is the creator of all. It exists outside of creation. It cannot be created, needs not to be created, and never has "existed" within reality. Its a being beyond measure, understanding, logic, rationale, or reality. It does not exist and yet it is all that exists.

I deal on a daily basis with people who have all kinds of terrible illnesses, many of them terminal, it kind of focus's the mind as to what life is all about and the bigger picture, if there is one. Can you think of a better subject to talk about? How do we go about determining what is true, and what might not be true? Is truth important? That is the question.

What happens to a person that follows the commandments of jesus and loves his next like himself, but doesnt believe that Jesus is God. Does that mean rejecting the gift of jesus? I know that no "good" actions can bring a person to heaven. My point is just if the person doesnt believe that jesus is god thats the only point but is aside from that is doing its best to act like jesus wants us to

@justingary5322 I see. Yes thanks a lot. Because the question for me is If a Person follows what Jesus says but Just doesn't believe in him as god. Is that Person really sepperate from him or Not? Thanks for the answer, that makes sense to me 👍

9:28--The answer to this question is yes. You will be forgiven, and you will go to Heaven if you truly never knew God or Jesus.
Like if you were born of another faith and lived that faith, and never even heard of Jesus, God, or the Bible, that sin IS forgiven. Because you truly did not know.
But if you come to know Jesus, and reject Him for your original God, then that is a sin, and that is not forgiven.

    Question✋
Why didn’t we just continue the practice from the Old Testament the offering of harvest and animals for forgiveness for our sins? Why do we need a New covenant thru Jesus if God forgives the sins anyway when the israelites give offerings in the altar? Thank you

The old testament sacrafices were a picture of the future sacrafice of Jesus. Jesus also came to be the FINAL sacrafice for all our sins.

@isaiah3165 The people under the Old Testament laws would practice the Old Testament laws for forgiveness. That is what God set so they could be forgiven before Jesus Christ became the eternal sacrifice.
