This stitch is also called the Sedge Stitch. It's a great stitch and very versatile. I've made several projects with it, and love it. Good job on the tutorial.
Thank you for a GREAT tutorial! This is easier than I thought it would be. You’re a wonderful teacher. I really like that you show the stitches up close as we’re going along and there’s no reason to make a mistake. It’s clearly visible! Love It. 😍
I really like your tutorials, they're clear and concise, easy to follow and nice close up camera work, thank you. I don't get why people give a thumbs down

Thank You for showing this. I find your style of crocheting so interesting. It is a bit different than how we do it here in America! But, beautiful none the less. I love looking at the different styles.
I love this stitch! I’ve made a blanket, a scarf and am currently making a ear warmer headband. So many different options with this stitch. Thank you 😊
Thank you very much for teaching this stitch, just been learning how to crochet done three blankets for my grandkids to have when they visited, they did not turn out to bad for my first time! I have wanted to learn another stitch so thank you and thanks for staring!!! Liz x
Excellent pattern, I 'm using it for a scarf right now. I tried the puff, the bobble and the popcorn stitch, but this looks way much prettier, at least with my yarn (stylecraft special chunky). Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm so glad you posted this!!! I've been following a written pattern, and even though the repeat is easy, I've been messing up the ends so my bobbles werent matching up. Now I have a visual and I'm excited lol
I love all of your videos, they have really helped me a lot and has given me so much inspiration to the point I have now also created my own TH-cam channel. I am a very quiet and shy person with very low self esteem and confidence but I want to say Thank you as you have given me inspiration to make my own TH-cam Channel and I know that over time it will help me gain self confidence. Thank you so much :)

thank you so very much...spent all of yesterday looking for a pattern that matched the yarn I have....LOVE this...turning out beautiful...excellent video tutorial!
hi Laura I have used this stitch to make heaps of afghans and angel blankets, always looks great and lovely and thick. I don't know the name of it either.👍
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I would love to make a “V” neck sweater with this stitch. But can you explain how to decrease with the GRIT stitch? Thank you in advance!!!
Thank you so much 😊 I loved this tutorial very much, it's a pretty stitch. I'm going to make a blanket for the special care baby 👶 unit in this pattern
I enjoyed the Ripple Stitch, made a nice blanket for my granddaughter.. just having trouble figuring out what to do with the ends that I have from changing colors.. how do I tie they off?
Hi Laura, I'm doing a baby blanket for my sister in law who's having a baby soon. I love doing this stitch which is so simple, I was just wondering if it's possible you could do this stitch in a hat format.
Thank you so much for the beautiful pattern. I am making a throw for my good friend for her birthday & I need your help. I did not follow the pattern as far as 2 rows of 2 colors. I've used 3 colors (light blue, beige, & brown), & the pattern is as such; 12 rows of brown, *6 rows of beige, 6 rows of light blue, 2 rows of brown, then repeat *, then start with 12 rows again. I'm having difficulty making a single crochet border around this blanket. Looks ok on the right side, but on the wrong side the stitches look like "v's" with spaces in between them. Of course, I'm also trying to hide the excess yarn, so I'm crocheting over them. Any suggestions? I'm putting 1 sc for each row. Should i use 2 sc's. I'm thinking that will make it distorted. Help?!
I don't know if my question has been asked before. I am doing a project (baby blanket) with this stitch and wold like to know what boarder you suggest. I ask because of how to work around the yarns that have been carried from the rows below. (I am using two colours) that are t one end of the blanket. Oops Just notices this question has recently been asked. Allan L

I love this stitch because of the texture. Reminds me of the C2C which we called diagonal stitch back in the 1970s.
