cars fine besides the tacky red crap you added to the buttons lol looks ghetto.
I just bought this car, in Canada Currently at 780.00km this is such a great video to understand how to properly maintain such a new vehicle. ✨️
WeatherTech Floorliner HP’s fully cover the dead pedal and surrounding carpet (high walls). It’s the best choice.
I got the Tuxmat for my 24 exl for front and back seat which are nice; I thought they give better coverage by the door sill area. For the cargo I got a cargo tray on Amazom that fits well (tray in lower position since non hybrid doesnt move) and Honda back seat protector
When deciding on floor mats. I bought weather tech. They cover everything. I bought a 2022 and had Honda floormats. They did not cover like weather tech mats do.
I love your videos! Thanks and please keep them coming!
Thank youuuu!
I love your videos, I was looking for the video link with the replacement horn
Nice video and enjoy watching it! By the way, did you encounter or hear any problem when trying to connect android auto (I see you are using apple carplay). I couldn't use the android auto even by using cable. I am not sure if its due to some technical issues with android auto itself whether I can use android auto in one car only. I can use that in my civic gen-10 but not crv gen-6, thats weird.😅
Always great videos and very informative
Thank you!
Awesome CRV Hybrid demo!

Why Sport not Touring?
Top 3 things you dislike?
great update man just hit 5500 on mine so far so good!!! hope to see more upgrades 📸
Thanks! Will do!
@@UCversace I just purchased this vehicle Wednesday same color..did you wrap the plastic panels and the chrome around glass or is that the 303 protectant
@@NoneNone_ chrome is wrapped yes
@@UCversace sorry worded it wrong..did you wrap the plastic panels between the glass too
Another great update! It’s so appreciated. I love everything you’ve done so far and have acquired many of the things from your recommendations. Have you been able to find a suitable iPhone case to be able to use the charging pad in the car? I’ve yet to find one and just rely on a wireless one that fits in the cup holder.
I've tried multiple cases. I think its just the camera bump will never allow it. I use the USB C cable to lightning now. works much faster
I got my 24 CRV hybrid touring last October and absolutely love it. I live in Utah and one of the first things I got was a dash board mat from Amazon for $30. Fits perfectly and looks great.
Is that to protect from sun damage when you park outside?
@@mj8495 Yup. Gets to be 115 in the summer for weeks at a time🤯
Grwat video. How did you do the chrome delete?
You mentioned Facebook have other 6 Gen CrV photos with differ color, could you also share the link too😊 love your video! Keep it up
m.facebook.com/groups/2023.honda.crv/?ref=share&mibextid=S66gvF
That side view where we can see all the chrome deletion work is SICK!! Like 🤢SICK!! I need to step my game up. Did you do all the chrome deletion yourself?
You took that car to the next level with the updates. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏾
Thank you so much for the kind words!!!! Yes I did everything myself. Its not too difficult! Good weekend project.
@@UCversace Just watched several of your videos. Please keep the updates coming. Good stuff bro. 👍🏾
@@actionvj will do. Gonna be installing auxiliary lights at some point
@@UCversacehow is the sound system?
@@UniversalStand Bose is amazing. Super deep bass
I just bought the 2024 model. I love it. I been following your channel and like the modifications you’ve completed. Do you have a list of the mods / products you use??
Thank you. Yes I do! Please check the description for mods/products used. Also check the description of my other videos as they’ll have a little more on exactly what I used.
Do you recommend a specific Honda webpage for the engine protector?
@@e-money463 college hills honda online has been the cheapest. Just find the SKU and search online to double check
Sometimes dealerships will have oil change specials, like 4-5 for under $100.
Great video, I was just wondering, where did you get the blackout trim for the windows and exterior of the car?
I have another video on it! Check out my channel. Its 3M vinyl and shadow black hyperdip. Did it myself
Ok cool, I will definitely check it out. Thanks a lot!!
In your other video, you mentioned that the headlights aren't bright enough. I would change the direction of the headlights, honda might have turned them down so they won't blind on coming traffic. You can turn them up a bit too help you with visibility!
I wish i knew how!
@UCversace You might can call your dealership and ask how to adjust your headlights. I know most of the time on the back of the headlight housing, their should be a nut or plastic turn nob. I'm not really sure because just about all vehicles are different. Or you might can ask can they do it for you!
Great update. I have the WeatherTech Floorliner HPs in my 2024 CRV Touring. The coverage is great. I am disappointed with the Honda CRV cargo liner. It slides around a lot. I think I would have gotten a better quality cargo liner with Weathertech. Thanks for the update!
Yea, I'm also disappointed in it, slides anytime I put something on it. Can't believe they didn't include spikes or anything. I ordered some luxury wine red and black leather ones. Ill see those are for floor mats. If no good, ill get the weather tech. Debating on seat covers
@@UCversaceAtleast some Velcro or something
I bought my 2024 crv hybrid Sport touring in late summer I'm at about 7k love it with one exception... abysmal gas mileage. I'm guessing you're in a warm climate the only people online that ever get close to estimated are in warm areas. I'm on East coast of Canada and from the beginning this vehicle has been really bad and i went from an older heavier Toyota with AWD that wasn't great on gas and got this for that specific reason but i get really bad in warm weather and horrendous in cold.
Today I'm cold and look at mileage since fillup several days ago averaging 10.8 liters in mpg that's 21.8.
In summer best i got was 7.8 but typically about 8.
7.8 is only 30.
Really unhappy with this.
Nice update. Any thoughts on what to do with the CLOWN CAR horn ?
Haha. You can add a second horn. Or swap it. Theres kits
Is your tailgate more noisy when closing that’s when opening? I just got mine and the closing sound seems unusual.
Nice review! Maybe I missed it, but can you provide a link for the hood deflector? Thanks
I got that from hardin honda. Installed before I picked up the car.
Engine is usually on most of the time and charges the battery while on Hybrid mode. About the oil, these have oil dilution issues, as in gas gets past cylinders and into the oil. Honda says this won't be an issue if you drive it for at least 30 mins every time you start the car. You also have the 2.0L engine, not the 1.5L with Turbo, which helps with the issue. Just make sure every few thousand miles to smell the oil dipstick.
Interesting, good to know. thanks
The 1.5 litre turbo had many issues from 2017-2020. This CRV has the 2.0 litre, haven’t heard a peep about oil dilution in this engine but, if you have valid source, I’d like to see it because I intentionally bought a hybrid to avoid the 1.5 dilution issue.
That oil issue isn't really a factor anymore, unless you always drive super short distances and it doesn't warm up.
I often drive very short distances, so the CR-V was a definite no go for me. Honda still recommends that 30min and/or highways in preventing abnormal oil dilution, which tells me that the issue still happens, as all Honda did to fix it was a software update making the engine run warmer. Some people have complained on 21-23 CR-Vs that they had some oil dilution.
Well where I live my work is 13 minutes away. Picking up supplies 15 minutes away. There's no regular ops for me to drive 30 minutes anywhere
Thank you for your videos on the car experience.
Reliability-wise, I’ve read positive things about the powertrain; it’s the electric components that are a worry. Things like the infotainment system or electric safety systems are what I’ve read about in the recent year CR-V hybrids.
I’m curious if anyone has located a mirror upgrade that has compass direction?
Do you actually use compass direction? I just use the Gps
It’s a feature in my ten year old Subaru that I miss in the Honda. Cabin illumination is the other thing I miss a lot in the Honda.
Not sure if you get snow where you are, but found that i had a build-up of slush on the Honda logo on the grill. Cruise turned off with a warning message to clean and it specified the logo area, wiped all the sludge off and hand dried it, but the message did not go away until overnight. Can you find out how much it has to be cleaned to restore cruise control. I would not use cruise on a snowy road, but this was slushy interstate, not that dangerous yet…
Otherwise i tell everyone ad nauseum that this is the best car ever owned … and i have owned cars for 55 years. Thanks
Definitely needs to be cleaned fully to work. Any sediment on it impedes the radar waves to some degree. I wipe mine down if i see anything. Bugs etc. no snow here.
Ok thanks.. i have tried to stay in B and Econ as much as possible and my mileage is steadily deteriorating, mid to low30s and mileage range of 450 on refill.. 10,000 miles today. So you think staying in D and Norm is preferable?
Yea definitely, My milage has gone up since i switched, Econ just lowers the power of the car, but people end up pressing the gas more to get the power back and burn more gas. Slow acceleration is also key. and letting off the pedal to allow EV to kick in on the freeway. @@chrisschuster9423
No spare with this car? Thanks for the review.
th-cam.com/video/U1zHu8yzBlY/w-d-xo.html
Welcome
It’s a hybrid you can’t really fit a spare,
with the non hybrids you do get spares
New guy asking if Honda can install folding exterior mirrors without voiding any warranty?
Did you do the Honda care package - paint protection. Rust proof and undercoat ? And if so did u have Honda do it or go elsewhere?
I did not. Honestly i feel like they lie and say they did those. Cars are supposed to be rust proof as is.
Has anyone found the maintenance schedule? I can't find it printed anywhere.
Do you have the rattling/buzzing sound from near the windshield that gets louder as you go faster?
No i dont
Not on mine either.... you might have something stuck under cowl that is flapping/vibrating with speed
@@mj8495 nah a lot of other people have the noise as well.
Do you think Can I get Bose speakers installed for sport L , will the dealership ever accept it ?
If you customize it before it gets there. Probably? You can ask the dealer for an accessories and upgrade sheet. Each dealer will have different prices. If its on there. Then should be able to. Bose is a must. Love to bump it down the street
You seem too young to be such a grandpa while driving. But I'm glad you are posting your tips, as I'm not getting the expected mileage in my 2024 CRV hybrid.
How can it look so sleek like that!?? Do you have any kind of paint coating on?
Just mother’s wax ! Link in description
Yikes. A 75” tv transported laying down? Hope it still works 😅. I found out the hard way that a flat screen tv which they all are now, should always be transported upright.
Works fine. Haha
Where did you getting Chrome deletion items?
I have a chrome delete video in my videos tab
I noticed you are doing oil changes every 5k miles. My maintenance alert probably wont go off for my first oil change until like 10k miles. Are you getting oil changes for free from Honda before the reminder comes up on your dash?
Honda will only change for free at 15% on MM, but you can always pay to have it changed sooner 😊
Yes. Getting as many free as I can
@@UCversace you’re in SoCal right? What dealer is allowing you to get free oil changes with out the maintenance light coming on? I need to get it on that.
@@andrelb3 I go to Hardin Honda. My car usually at 60% when I go. They allow me at 5k miles. Other Hondas said 15%.
BL5000K-crv23 Model number for fog lights, but who the hell wants to cut pieces and probably remove the bumper.
How did you get 491 miles in range ?? On that hybrid sport touring ??
Its currently 515 miles per tank. Drive 65 and under. No heavy acceleration.
Please keep changing your oil every 5k miles look up care care but oil change interval’s long term it will keep your car from burning oil and having engine problems later on I have 2023 RAV4 hybrid clean I pay to get it changed every 5k miles and I drive 800 miles per week 40k miles per year long term matters to me
Have you guys seen some info going around the internet saying the new updated gasoline ratings we should be using is 91 not 87 any more?
Nope
I have the 1.5 turbo and have seen youtubers talking about the head gasket stuff and what not and to use 91. These are people tuning them and bringing it up to redline on other Honda vehicles that have the 1.5. I put in 87 and hardly ever go over 3K rpm. It's the little engine that can.
What's the point of the battery part and the whole hybrid system if you have the same economy like I do with my Honda CRV from 2011.. or very close to it
Interesting. Well I actually own a 2011 CRV as well. It gets 21 MPG. The 2023 hybrid crv gets 35-40 MPG. So it is better.
If you get good milage with your 2011. Maybe the way you drive can get you greater numbers in a 24 hybrid
@@UCversace I just did a test since I know the numbers in general but never specifically. With 60 mph 39.9 miles per gallon. And it couldn't be my driving because I was just going that speed continuously. 90% highway and a little bit of city. Probably because it's a highway and also onboard computers inherently lie a little bit. But those are the numbers I got. As far as I can tell the biggest contributors are if your road has small incline that is not noticeable spread out with great distances, your onboard computer lies a little bit, wind, rain and how you drive. Honda CRV 2011 2.0 manual transmission.
Honda still doesn't have a ventilated seat, panoramic sunroof, and 360-degree camera on the CRV. Even the highest trim doesn't have these features. That's why I went for the Kia Sportage hybrid Sx Prestige.
They do on the RS package
Rs package? Is that even a package in the States? No! Touring hybrid is the highest trim level you can get.
@@Brayant25 no its not. But not everyone on TH-cam lives in the states.
Enjoy your kia. Just make sure you get the 100k mile warranty. Most have bad engines.
I went with the honda in-spite of less features because I believe it will still be driving in 5 years.
@UCversace I will enjoy my Kia Sportage hybrid and it comes with a 10yrs or 100000miles warranty for both the engine and hybrid battery. 😂 Also, I paid $40k cash and planning to keep my vehicle for years.
@@Brayant25 niceeeeee
my mpgs on my awd sport (not touring) are so bad, currently I'm getting like 25. In the summer/fall it was around 34. I don't drive on the highway. I'm hoping I can improve them, I do accelerate pretty hard that is the only thing I can think that is making it so bad.
Wow, that's abysmal. Worse than the gas version. I'd take it to the dealer for an eval. Maybe some of your spark plugs aren't firing.
@@UCversace I've seen on other sites that short drives could lower the mpgs. I usually only drive 10 mins to work and 10 mins back, and everywhere I go is 15 mins or less from me. I will def have the dealer take a look!
@@amna6024 hybrids thrive on streets and short drives. When i go down the road. I can hit 50mpg. Second i touch highway it dips
@@amna6024do you do what I do when I jump on the highway? I go from eco mode to normal then sport all in less than a second to get that boost n then switch back to normal when I maintained a good equilibrium on the road
Exactly my experience the really poor gas mileage on my 24 CRV hybrid sport touring
Almost impossible to drive slow here in Southern California with people riding your ass all the time 😏 .
Haha, this is true. close to buying one of those LED signs to give em the bird.
40mpg at 60mph?
What a poor mpg.
Just use ice car.
What is mpg at 70mph? under 30mpg?
NO ICE car gets 40mpg at 60mph and at 3800+ LBs.... you're delusional!
Only women drive CRVs. Hell only women drive SUVs for that matter. Real men know better.
The future is SUVs for everyone. Sedans are a out. Too dangerous to be in a sedan.
@@UCversace Sedans are coming back and they are not too dangerous as people are hating SUVs.
@@DeepDishPizza idk where you’re getting your facts. But sedans have been on the decline for a decade. Look at the numbers my guy.
@@DeepDishPizza if it wasnt for everyone else driving SUV tanks. Id buy a Supra
@@UCversace Supras are junk. SUVs are not tanks as they are made with the cheapest sheet metal.
