So nice to see a return to form of the original Ronny. No weird flashy graphics and cheap VFX, just honest footage of a beautiful trip with the best commentary.
Nice one, I have done 17,000 UK miles in 4 months in my Trialmaster. To the Balkans, Morocco, Alps, Pyrenees, UK, France, Spain you name it. You just want to get in and drive it
Having watched all the Grenadier videos so far I am coming to the conclusion that if I had the money, I would not hesitate to get one. It seems very capable and it looks like a 4wd should look. Had to smile at the quick dip in the road/river as it brought back memories of a time we did the same thing near Sawpit Gorge up in the Kimberleys although it was in the middle of the day, the water was very red and warm even though it was flowing.
Loving the Grenadier contnet, in my mind its the perfect combination of function and comfort for a 4x4. Would love to see you take out a Quatermaster next and compare it to a dual cab 79!
Unsurprisingly the more heavily modified Land Cruiser did not do the harder sections as well as the Ineos. But then again the Land Cruiser would not have done it as well as a 110 Defender (ie not the new one) in close to stock form. A well set up live axle coiler just cannot be beaten offroad when compared to leaf under axle set ups on the Cruisers. Cheers
Great content, Ronny. That's beautiful country out that way. It will be interesting to hear your final conclusion about the IG. The electronics with the diff locks are a bit of a "fly in the ointment"! Great vistas!
Great video but on that initial climb out why wouldn't you "lock up" before going for it? uneven with loose rocks has got the use of diff locks written all over it!
I don't know if you've watched a lot of his videos but he likes to see how the vehicles perform without any assistance devices activated just to see if they can do it, and then he turns it on afterwards to compare how it performs with the assistance on
@floofy117 Fair enough and Ronny's a far more experienced 4x4 driver than me, but on loose rocks like that which wasn't a straight up, in places the vehicle could have potentially slipped sideways I wouldn't take the risk, I certainly wouldn't want to come back down in reverse so I'd fully lock 1st, but again he's got bigger ⚽️'s than me!
@@patricksheringham5965 i don't think it's him having bigger balls, i think since his videos are at their core educational content, he's just showing people what would happen depending on whether they choose to use diff locks in those situations or not.
Loved the Video Ronny, Wish it was longer, I think the way you’re editing these days is a bit too slick. Yes its very professional but a bit longer with some more ‘warts n’ all’ would be nice.
If you don't get in early enough, you'll end up with the most average spot along that creek. Still not bad by any means especially with the tepid water for a wash/swim.
I don’t understand why people attempt things without diff locks only to have to engage them afterwards to get through. Why not use all the 4WD’s functions to start with, giving it the best chance to get up first time.
I've test-driven Grenadier for a day, Amazing vehicle, BUT the interior size and that stupid lump and space for my legs are WRONG. back pain, leg pain, and shoulders. storage space is very limited, forget about kids at the back, it's a nightmare. Ronny tell me you get paid to sit in it) The salesman was asking if I've seen your videos and how great this vehicle is because you driving it) You became a sales pitch). For the vehicle's price, it would be more practical to buy a new auto 79 or last made 200 plus all the upgrades on it. after driving it I started to love my 200 more and more. My 200 doesn't need all these switches and fancy gear nob, It just goes where I tell him) space for kids at the back is a football field compared to Grenadier. It's a great weekend car that makes you feel like you doing harsh off-road on the moon for the European market. if they ever make the same vehicle but wider inside without any lumps maybe I look at it again someday.
Dude you dont have to like the grenadier but comparing it to a car whose production ceased 5yrs ago is plain stupid. Just the same as you your 200 to an 80 or 100 series.
Don’t get me wrong the car itself looks like a good thing but let’s be honest we all spend a far bit of time in major towns or cities as well so I think those boxes on the side will be problematic on such a wide car. Imagine anyone especially older people trying to get around them or even out of their own cars when park next to them in car parks.
our PM (Rudd) tried to get the mines to pay more tax to benefit aussies and the americans replaced him will Gillard overnight WA doesn't have just iron ore but massive amounts of gold, the hole in Kalgoorlie is one of the biggest in the world and I'm guessing they take 2 million ounces a year from that mine alone

Haha!
those tacky ai pictures was grinding my gears.
@@TomaszbtdZiobrowski Yeahhh, super cringey. That and the popout text/flashing graphics etc. Pretty sure they should come with a seizure warning rofl
i think his editor at the time just finished a tafe course in vfx
Always ready for a Grenadier video in the Pilbara!

INEOS GRENADIER is the best 4x4 money can buy today.
The Grenadier not only looks awesome it performs like a legend in the making. Great video as always Ronny.
I love those tail lights on the Grenny.

76 series “When you order the Grenadier on Temu “
Hahaha that's a classic
The new editing style is absolutely phenomenal!
Quartermaster review next please!
Great stuff Ronny
It’s always a good start when it’s “Welcome to the Pilbara”

Beautiful video, makes me wanna go there. I’m glad to see this style of video from you again. Bring us more of this 💪🏼
Really enjoy these trip videos.
Never thought I would hear "land cruiser being lighter” 😂
Awesome content as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.

it's called creating drama
Awesome vídeo again. Thanks
In darkness we find camp! Perfect
Fantastic episode as usual, hardly a surprise with the Pilbara and a Grenadier
Did Kalgans pool in the mighty Paj last year.
Epic journey through the Pilbara up to Broome.
Thanks Ronny! Great episode.. looking forward to the next
Ever since seeing the grenadier on here i now see them everywhere! must be popular..
Cheers Ronny. 4 minutes in and you’ve sold me a grenadier
Hope you enjoyed Hickman Crater Ronny (look forward to the next episode). We loved it 2 years ago..
Man i miss how these serious felt like they had Grandure and shows how vast truely our contients are.
5:50 I'd reckon that track used to be a hippie trail, back in the 70's. Kombi driver probably had a head full of zombie.
Or maybe they met a man who was 6"4 who gave them a knuckle sandwich!
Great video, looking forward to the next instalment!
Coles stock that aussie Chilli Honey now. $7.50.😋

Enjoyed the video but is was too short.

What's the point in not using the lockers for obstacles? If it looks tricky just lock them, this whole trying it first for added drama is just stupid.
Welcome back to da pill bruh.
Thankyou Ronny, glad to be here

Great episode Ronny.
I’ve gotta check that spot out one day.
Great visual and editing

Good looking 4wd . But dammm the price is pretty much same as the lc 300 GR
Would love to see a vid that brings you to the states
Where is Torbs these days?

That is why they are an add-on for long trips only, an is easily removed.
Wow, a landcruser with every mod thrown at it, cannot do a well as a grenadier with 25mm lift
Or anywhere near as well as an unlocked GQ
@@grantm1891 or an unlocked 80s 😜
No travelling in that fried out combi............
👌
Sad Australia benefit is very low from iron ore
