No one was talking about that Skarmory that got a 11 level gap but Litterally survived a gigantic ball crash and it avoided two attacks in a row and it had made Zekrom drop his defence by three.
Willcc19 - Iris’ ace is only level 59, so technically it’s only a 5 level grind from there. It’s annoying, but definitely doable before the league. In BW1, you’d have to grind probably 15 or so levels, seeing as how Ghetsis’ ace is only like 52.

I trained my entire team to level 65 by the time I got to the 6 gym to fight skyla , by the time I got to this part of the game my entire team was between level 75 and 80..
hell no the level difference made it interesting. there are billions of other youtubers flexing higher level comps they spent a couple of hours exp farming prior cruising through otherwise exhilirating battles..
kyouhei’s toes it’s better to be like 5 to ten levels lower depending on what part of the game you are at so you beat them with strategy but brute forcing it is out of the question. Well you can still brute force red that way due to his horrible movesets and pokemon so 20 is about right for him.

Those pixels, those song effects, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT BACK THEN.
The pixels were pretty damn bad in Gen 5, although I'll admit they were passable in BW2
