I've tried looking it up now and nothing looks the same. I'm guessing there have been updates and changes made since.

"You cannot run from a trainer battle."

My leavanny used swords dance and x scissored the thing on the 4th turn I think after it put me to sleep. I got lucky that it got a crit with the scope lens, I want to believe that helped my chance of landing a good hit. After that... well I died lol

@@baileywilder2964 I'm running My Hundo Szcior with Iron Head and Night Slash Torterra with Stone Edge and Earthquake and my Hundo Tyranitar in my back pocket for Giratina or Mewtwo and even Metagross and I dropped them in Master league and been dominated without using legendary Pokemon just regular beefed up mons my people's.
You don't need legendary Pokemon to dominate Master league I have gotten all my league badges gold and joined the Veteran's club all veteran out without using legendary Pokemon which takes way more skill to do that then using legendary Pokemon to win which is taking the easy way out. As long as you cover your strengths and weakness to all pokemon victory shall be yours my people's team mystic rules

Dragon/ground is such a tough typing to beat. Dragon covers the water and grass weaknesses, that just leaves the one weakness for an already extremely powerful Pokémon

I love the fact that although she´s the Sinnoh champion, she refers to herself as a regular pokemon trainer (although we know who shes hiding in a certain pokeball). That alone shows her modesty and how she´s a good person, not an arrogant trainer.
The oldest memory I have of Cynthia is from watching one of the many Pokemon-related DVDs in my family's DVD collection. Even as a child, she stood out to me. Her long blonde hair, sharp eyes, black coat and hair accessories were the most memorable traits for me, I never knew who she really was or what she did for a long time. I thought she was just another cool character that Ash knew. It took me years to see her again where I played Black 2 where I accidentally stumbled into her in those houses. I didn't recognize who she was at the time but I had a hunch I saw her before. Unfortunately, I swept her team with my Lvl. 100 Samurott and Lucario so my interaction with her was quite short. Now, I am planning to play Platinum soon and I want to battle Cynthia in a fair and proper Pokemon battle. Wish me luck, bois.

This literally happened to me, however I transferred my team from Emerald to HG and then to White. Sorry to say I oblitrrated her team first try I did copy and paste this comment, but in my defense there is literally no other way to say what happened
I remember the first time I fought Cynthia in BW. She caught me with my pants down and I died the first time ... and a dozen times afterward as well. I had to train my Pokémon apart from Serperior and get Volcarrona to finally win. One of the best fights of my life. I didn't know that she also appears in BW2.
For anyone who is here to collect some battling strategies against cynthia, here's a tip for each of her pokemon: 1. Spiritomb: use a VIGOROTH. It has vital spirit so not affected by hypnosis or dream eater. It's a normal type so not affected by shadow ball. Only move left for spiritomb is double team. If you teach vigoroth aerial ace then that would be overcome. But beware of spiritomb "pressure" ability. I recommend teaching vigoroth work up/bulk up/hone claws to maximise its attack then using aerial ace else its pp will just vanish. 2. Togekiss : Beware of togekiss's "serene grace" ability which makes the flinching chance of her air slash to 60% such a huge chance. So keep a pokemon that's faster than her. Also beware as she knows thunder wave too to cut your speed. So Use a ground type. Not krookodile as she knows aura sphere as well. 3. Garchomp : use an ice + water dual type. ( eg. - walrein or lapras )Cuz if u use only ice type then garchomp will use flamethrower. Against this dual typing garchomp will use stone edge. Now make sure your pokemon is holding BRIGHT POWDER. That cuts off stone edge accuracy from 80% to 70%. Rest is done by your ice beam 4. Milotic. AVOID using any male pokemon against her. Either use females or genderless pokemon. Use a pokemon with high special defense to bear her hydro pumps and blizzards. U can use amnesia move for the purpose. I recommend using UXIE. It knows amnesia by default. U can teach it dream eater too when milotic is resting. 5. Glaceon. Use a FAST, POOR SPECIAL attacker but GOOD PHYSICAL attacker against her. As your pokemon's special attack is weak she'll always use "barrier" as first move. as your speed is higher you'll get 2 turns for attacking one before barrier and one after barrier. 6. Lucario : just two fusion flares from your reshiram.
Definitely the most well-rounded team you see in the game. As a newer player I was terrified when I found out eelektross had levitate, and a moveset that countered almost my entire team. Had to do a lot of rethinking about my team after facing her and I’m glad I did, or else the elite four and Alder would’ve wiped me off the map
My friend who has never finished a Pokémon game in her 16 years of living, decided she wanted me to watch her play Pokémon black 2 while we had a week long sleepover. Dragon/ground is such a tough typing to beat. Dragon covers the water and grass weaknesses, that just leaves the one weakness for an already extremely powerful Pokémon

I love the fact that although she´s the Sinnoh champion, she refers to herself as a regular pokemon trainer (although we know who shes hiding in a certain pokeball). That alone shows her modesty and how she´s a good person, not an arrogant trainer.

The oldest memory I have of Cynthia is from watching one of the many Pokemon-related DVDs in my family's DVD collection. Even as a child, she stood out to me. Her long blonde hair, sharp eyes, black coat and hair accessories were the most memorable traits for me, I never knew who she really was or what she did for a long time. I thought she was just another cool character that Ash knew.
It took me years to see her again where I played Black 2 where I accidentally stumbled into her in those houses. I didn't recognize who she was at the time but I had a hunch I saw her before. Unfortunately, I swept her team with my Lvl. 100 Samurott and Lucario so my interaction with her was quite short.
Now, I am planning to play Platinum soon and I want to battle Cynthia in a fair and proper Pokemon battle. Wish me luck, bois.

I remember the first time I fought Cynthia in BW. She caught me with my pants down and I died the first time ... and a dozen times afterward as well. I had to train my Pokémon apart from Serperior and get Volcarrona to finally win.
One of the best fights of my life.
I didn't know that she also appears in BW2.

For anyone who is here to collect some battling strategies against cynthia, here's a tip for each of her pokemon:
1. Spiritomb: use a VIGOROTH. It has vital spirit so not affected by hypnosis or dream eater. It's a normal type so not affected by shadow ball. Only move left for spiritomb is double team. If you teach vigoroth aerial ace then that would be overcome. But beware of spiritomb "pressure" ability. I recommend teaching vigoroth work up/bulk up/hone claws to maximise its attack then using aerial ace else its pp will just vanish.
2. Togekiss : Beware of togekiss's "serene grace" ability which makes the flinching chance of her air slash to 60% such a huge chance. So keep a pokemon that's faster than her. Also beware as she knows thunder wave too to cut your speed. So Use a ground type. Not krookodile as she knows aura sphere as well.
3. Garchomp : use an ice + water dual type. ( eg. - walrein or lapras )Cuz if u use only ice type then garchomp will use flamethrower. Against this dual typing garchomp will use stone edge. Now make sure your pokemon is holding BRIGHT POWDER. That cuts off stone edge accuracy from 80% to 70%. Rest is done by your ice beam
4. Milotic. AVOID using any male pokemon against her. Either use females or genderless pokemon. Use a pokemon with high special defense to bear her hydro pumps and blizzards. U can use amnesia move for the purpose. I recommend using UXIE. It knows amnesia by default. U can teach it dream eater too when milotic is resting.
5. Glaceon. Use a FAST, POOR SPECIAL attacker but GOOD PHYSICAL attacker against her. As your pokemon's special attack is weak she'll always use "barrier" as first move. as your speed is higher you'll get 2 turns for attacking one before barrier and one after barrier.
6. Lucario : just two fusion flares from your reshiram.

Definitely the most well-rounded team you see in the game. As a newer player I was terrified when I found out eelektross had levitate, and a moveset that countered almost my entire team. Had to do a lot of rethinking about my team after facing her and I’m glad I did, or else the elite four and Alder would’ve wiped me off the map
Even my samurott whose weak against electric only one shotted the eelektross with a water move, i used lots of sword dance. 😂

My friend who has never finished a Pokémon game in her 16 years of living, decided she wanted me to watch her play Pokémon black 2 while we had a week long sleepover. She was doing really good and I’d have to say, if she were doing a nuzlocke, she could’ve won. When she went Undella town I told her to go into the house Cynthia was in, just because she didn’t know how hard Cynthia was to beat. When we went in she was so confused to why boss music was playing and started questioning everything. Needless to say, she is now a big Cynthia simp
