Installing my lifeproof diagonally, trying to use a speed square and gauge and just cannot get it. Takes me 30 minutes for one cut, started using card board to make a template so I don't waste boards. 😢 I try to transfer the shape of the contour gauge to the board but because it's diagonal, I cannot place it right, after a cut the board is moved up and to the left, ugh 😑

We literally built a giant version of this out of wood.
When we put flooring in our bus we forgot to allow for expansion. Looked like wrinkled bacon 😆

If you have a tape measure in a square you really don't need a contour gauge for simple cuts like that

sounds tricky for sure, never tried it diagonally!
