Yes I think it’s important to see it being actually cut. So many videos skip the work bit and you just see a finished product but that really doesn’t help. So thank you 🙏🏼😃
I was taught to set the depth of the circular saw blade to be about 3 or 4 mm more than the thickness of the plywood to get a cleaner cut. Having said that, after sneering at them for years, I bought a track saw to built the wardrobes in my daughters bedroom and found that it cut so nicely that I use that far more than I use the circular saw now. I only got a cheapish £80 (down from £125 in a sale from screwfix) track saw and it has made getting long, straight cuts dead easy.
Hi Greg. I've been following you from your first video without skipping any of them. You're doing good and I must say that you're outstanding. I've been learning from you much. After I watched your videos, I owe the same van which is 2009 model Peugeot Boxer 17 m3 as you know that's the biggest in theese platform. I'm verry happy with my van and converted it to a campervan myself. I'm 57 year old retired guy from Aviation Industry where I live in Türkiye. : ) I'm looking forward to Ep 12 and on. Please please keep continue as much as detailed as you can. Don't leave us alone. : )) With my best wishes. Bye..
Excellent! I've not come across down cut jigsaw blades before so will check these out next time I need to make finish cuts on the top side. Good use of bevel cutting for the roll of the arch and great work around the arches and at the front. I have the same, but older model of jigsaw and the bevel edge 'set lever' tends to fall open if I'm not careful. You can also set the aggressiveness of the cut stroke to limit rips and tears but it's always worth testing on a bit of scrap. I saw you had a decent T-square, framing square and straight edge. These do make a huge difference if you're cutting sheet material and along with some clamps are great investment tools, as you have. Don’t forget you can use your drill to screw in screws and it’s useful to set the drill clutch for even pressure if you don’t have an impact driver (which can over-torque). Final point is, it’s good to raise the circular saw blade if your blade isn’t so fine-toothed to limit damage to the material; this way the teeth aren’t pulling ‘through’ the sheet so much. Interested to know if you’re going to coat or seal the plywood? It’s impossible to seal it completely and it will breathe with the seasons anyhow. A highly thinned coat of varnish or even PVA(?) might have some use but I’m undecided. Keen to know your thoughts and what you’re doing next. Thanks!!
They are all fantastic tips and obviously coming from experience so thank you for taking the time to share those. We did seal the previous plywood floor in our sprinter van with a water based varnish so was going to do the same with this one. Great comment thank you 🙏🏼😃

Greg: "I'm gonna do two videos a week" has gone AWOL ‼️
Yes, I know, it's too hot to be working in a tin van ... still, I'm looking forward to the resumation of this Master Class Greg - hope u are enjoying the summer ... 👍👍💯
Excellent job and step by step explanation Greg 👏👏👍
Thank you for watching 😃
perfect Job, Greg and beautifully filmed. I'm loving this series very much. Best regards- Kenny
I’ll pass your compliments onto my camera lady Lou 😂
But got to be careful in case she starts putting in for a raise 🤩👍🏼
👍👍👍
I love that you show the actual "how to" parts of the construction. Excellent tutorials Greg 😊
Yes I think it’s important to see it being actually cut. So many videos skip the work bit and you just see a finished product but that really doesn’t help. So thank you 🙏🏼😃
I discovered those combo countersink and drill bits a long time ago and I couldn't agree more that they are very useful!
Yes whether you need a simple counter sink or a deeper hole for a wood plug they are brilliant 👍🏼😃
Nice job!
The floor as well as the video.
I'm fascinated by scribe techniques. 😄
Just don’t get me started the washer technique 😂
I was even toying with doing a dedicated video
Some great techniques and tips there Greg. Thank you sir!
I’m glad you liked it 👍🏼🤩
Tha Man's Back in Action 🎬 😎
Always a pleasure to see your work Sir.
Top Notch Greg as per mate 👌 👏
It’s a pleasure to read your comments Nick.
Makes it all so worth while. Thank you 🙏🏼 😊
@GregVirgoe we all appreciate you Greg and your work.
And you're very welcome, buddy.
Beautiful job Greg
Thank you Stephen 😊
Bye..
We are back from our short holiday and new videos will be out soon 😃
The detail is what we come for!!
My plan is to show the bits that are often skipped over. 😊
Great job at teaching the basics Greg. Very much appreciated. Cheers from down under mate. Doug.
You make it look so easy mate. 🪚🔧🪛🔩🔨
Its coming along nicely greg
Thank you 🙏🏼
Great video. Good teacher. Much appreciated 💜
You are so welcome, thank you for the nice feedback
Great comment thank you 🙏🏼😃
This guy has a gift for teaching 👌
Thank you very much 🙏🏼 that’s really nice 👍🏼😊
Best Van conversion channel bar none.
Be nice to have your expertise on other things "non-build" like, Insurance, a how to, best insurer, etc, as there are so many conflicting websites saying one thing or another.
Again thank you, my mates now watch you too.
I’ll see what I can do in future. Thank you for recommending me 👍🏼🤩
Should I ever build a campervan, I already know how to do it. Thanks Greg and cheers from Finland!
Awesome 🤩 we would love to visit Finland in our van. Hopefully 🙏🏼
@@GregVirgoe Please do come visit! Such a beautiful place during summer and many breathtaking scenery. 👍 And also very open culture for different types of campervans and many awesome camping sites.
I watched your sprinter build, now this build, you are a great teacher Greg, thank you for all the great information you have given people like myself. Love your clear instructions and great camera work.

Hey Sharon, hope you are keeping well and enjoying vanlife 👍🏼😃
Brilliant stuff, your electric vids have been most helpful for my build, doing all the jobs myself so thanks again atb, Chris
Yet another brilliant video... this series is shaping up to be the newbies masterclass, thanks Greg.
Thank you Pete, glad you like it 😊
Greg love the videos you explain things really well.
I even watch thinks I’m never going to do and still learn something
That scribe technique is such a clever easy technique. I’d always wondered how people managed to do it
Yes simple but very effective 👍🏼😊
Learning so much from this series! 👍🏻
That’s great 😃 I’m glad you are enjoying it 👍🏼
Greg suspense is killing us!!!!
Sorry 😢 back on it again tomorrow. 👍🏼
