I bought mine new on April 5th 1975. I went to the dealer to get on a Saturday morning, he told it was still in the wooden crate! Had to come back in 2hrs. $750.00 cash. Neat thing is I still have her! Suzy has never cheated on me the last 46 years 💕
I’m working on an identical bike now but mine sat in a barn for 30 years. I’m doing mine in a WWII fashion since it’s too far gone to restore to original. Super cool bikes and a ton of fun to tool around town on.
Amazing. After 42 years of riding I never heard of a TC185. I live in the UK and we only had the TS185. Electric start,10 speeds,12 volts, adjustable forks...man that is amazing. I currently ride a TS400 [1975] which has 12 volts but none of that other stuff. You learn stuff everyday, even after all those years.
I have one of these sitting at my grandparents house that my dad owned I’ve been begging him to go get it for the whole year so I can make a restoration on it for me and my friends to ride
Growing up we used to thrash on an old TS 185 of the same year. That thing took so much abuse that you'd think it would wear out after so many years, but the opposite is true. We STILL thrash on that thing, and it doesn't show. Every spring when we pull it out, the battery might be shot and most accessories don't function, but you can bet money that it will start on the 2nd kick at most.
Beautiful specimen! In the process of bringing back my dads that sat in a non-climate controlled shed for 30+ years and had been ridden off road, so it was not preserved near as well as this one. The only thing I saw missing are the reflectors that go on the front forks.
My first Motorcycle was a TC 185 Suzuki. Electric ⚡️ start , lever for high or low gears . It was gold . I bought it with grass cutting money 💰 $475.00
Is this available to purchase? I was in military when my father sold my TC185 and I never knew about it. Now I’d like to get what I had back. I Served my country in three war zones and to have my old bike back again would be sincerely something special to me. Thanks for your time, guidance or suggestions on what I could do to make something like this happen.
Hello David do you know if the 1974 ts 185 and 1976 ts 185 use similar parts? Trying to revive a 1975 ts 185 and considering purchasing a 1974 for parts.
Whoa, I had no idea my bike had a tool kit. It's all there, looks original with the Suzuki logo on the tools.

I love that bike! I have a TS 185 and if I ever come across a TC185 that's not totally trashed I will pick it up.

What a great bike. do you have an idea, if the frame of Tc and TS ist the same? Might a TC engine fit into a TS frame? Cheers
