I remember these when I was in Junior High School in Hanford CA.. There was a Suzuki dealer across the street from the school... They also had the Suzuki water buffalos and 1 Rotary Suzuki RE5. They also sold Maicos, and Husqvarnas too..
First dirtbike at 14 years old.All the other tater heads in the neighborhood ate my roost for a long time.Dad bought it because it had cci and you didn't have to pre mix. That was a unique feature on that bike, surprised you didn't mention it.None of the other bikes of that time had that feature. Awesome machine.😎
I had one exactly like that. It's the first bike I started motocross racing with. Great looking bike and it brings back so many awesome memories. Thanks Ken and keep the great videos coming. 👍
I watched Roger Decoster, Bob Hanna, Broc Glover and all the gang for year. at Mid Ohio about 74 or so. I was there the year The "Wheelie King" was there. Bill Wells? We had so much fun that weekend. It was a muddy mess! lol Thanks man!
Had one in 1976 that was 2 years old. Really liked it, weird to see the prices they command. I never thought these would be considered as a future vintage when we were just trying to win local races.
I just watched the videos you put up on these Suzukis and I wake up this morning and your buddy mustie1 is working on bringing a RM80 back to life. When it comes to anything motorcycles I love watching your channel and I am trying my hardest to make it to your museum unfortunately I've been laid up with really bad back problems and I might have to have surgery. I really want to get there I'm not too far I've in Massachusetts. Keep up all the great work and content love it.
@@KaplanCycles I'm working on it trust me ever since I heard about you from him I've been following you. By the way when is the two-stroke invitational going to be?
I've always wanted to buy a TM 400 then take it out to the desert and go Steve McQueen on it. Stay in a crappy motel and eat some shrooms, build a bonfire, and howl at the moon for a few hours.

Now this is a blue collar working mans dime piece👍👏❤️
The TM'S were absolute monsters. They dominated motocross from 72 to 74. It's a beautiful piece of history.

Had that bike, lots grunt, rockchucker
A great addition to any collection not sure why you wouldn’t want that bike in the museum?
if only castrol r30 was an after shave
Kappi! Those last couple of Suzuki's were pretty awesome. I'm still waiting on that 78 1/2 RM 250 C2. When that bike is available, im gett'n it.

Hi Ken, that’s way better than the rusty one i used to have, it still went like stink, and that two stroke smell 👃, yummy 😋. Beautiful bike man 🤩
Tank slapper
Flexible frame Pogo shocks when new.
But cool bikes.
Husqvarna ruled then.
i was waiting for you to say what kind of rear shocks and you did! Had a set on my 74 bultaco
Nice!
This is the correct tank for your RM100!
The boys reversed them?
Bollocks , im still not first to comment. 8 minutes out, cool rare piece kaptian
Cool old bike but there part of the everything bubble when it pops value drops cool bike thou
Yeah that's no shit step back to kid time awesome thanks brother
The TM and the works bike looked similar; that's it. I owned one of these and it was a foul handling bike. An absolute dinosaur compared to a CR250M.
Great bike..the Elsinore's ate 'em for dinner though..lol.
Husqvarna Maico and Montessa smoked Japan bikes then.
✌🏼😊👍🏼
These suzuki Rms were great sellers and great competion with the honda elsinores the air was alive with the sound of bees buzzing
start it!
Pipe nice bike looks right .
Clean bike I'd just buy a new carb for it cheap fixer
Did the Rm replace the TM?
Yes and they were a HUGE improvement!
:D
The TMs great models
I made a mistake i thought it was the RM S model but uncle mentioned it was a TM
Is it a repainted TM tank like the first RM model the S
