NEVER HAVE I CLICKED FASTER! I'm in like flynn, take me to awesome town! ive wanted to see you guys do something like this for a while now. more bike videos please.
I totally agree. Their ADVChina and old Churchill customs renown should make custom "curated" modified Chinese bikes a natural segue now that they're here in the States. I'm sure lots of folks over here might wanna buy one if they were just "beefy" enough for occasional highway use--say 400cc or more.
Man watching this makes me think back when I helped my uncle rebuild his buddy's 1992 Harley Fatboy 17yrs ago. It took us around 4 months to complete it and that was the 1st and only Harley I ever ridden, car's are my thing
I actually have a whole build series on my '96 GN125, where I "bolt stuff on" (for the most part, lol). They're just so cheap / reliable, and It's been an awesome time learning the ins and outs. Totally love this build - thing looks sweet!!💪🏍️
haha broo xD Ive been watching him for years, Im an IT nerd who rides motorcycles i waws blown they didnt have ride along meetups when they moved to the US
@Merc399 u just got issues if ur watching that without understanding serpentza is a joke on the internet and basically a perfect representation of a right wing mental breakdown
Yay! Bike! Winston's cheap bike challenge from all those years ago is part of the reason why I have a GS250 in 1000 bits in my garage right now! 40 year old JIS machine screws really don't like coming undone! (I should have got a GN, parts are so much easier to find! lol!). The other reason is my VTR1000 is worse on fuel getting me to work than my car! LOL! It'll be on the road this year, honest!
@@serpentza neither can I! I should have made a video series of it, it would run longer than a US election count! (I didn't plan on it to take so long, but then I found a new old stock tank in the original colour and it started turning into a restoration project!).
Do more bikes guys. This was awesome and I learned tons of this. You guys are honestly becoming my fav TH-cam’s and I’m following you both since your China only content for ages.
I actually built my first "motorbike" about a month ago. I bought a cheap Chinese 49cc 4 stroke bike kit and outfitted an old used mountain bike. I'm only 15 so no license or nothing so this is good for now. It does about 50+ Kmph so thats more than enough for cruising Toronto. Best thing is, it cost me under 400 bucks. We all gotta start somewhere! These vids are really inspiring and I love your content. STAY AWESOME!
This video fits perfectly to what I want to make, I really like it that you haven't cut the frame, bc thats smth I was a bit afrait to do but now I see its also posible without cutting it.
What I usually do is just take the 2 bolts out of the caliper and fit that when the wheel is on. That way you're not trying to make 5 things fit at once (especially with dual front discs)
It is recommended when you take your front wheel off to place a bit of a spacer between the pads to ensure the caliper doesn't close up. I usually just place an allen/hex key between them to keep them open. I here tell that if you didn't it is possible to accidently knock your front brake and squeeze them in, it is even possible to actually (say someone pulled the front brake on for instance) push the brake piston passed its seal) and then DOH!!!!!! so place a simple wedge in between to save a lot of hassle.. Just my 2 cents.
The bikes you rode in your documentaries each had such a simple, but classy style about them. Minimalist and clean, they appeared graceful even in repose. Who knows? Perhaps you should copywrite "Churchill Motors" along with the logo and file it under future projects.
Yeah, Bruh !! I had a GN400 back in say...87 that I got for $400. Black on black like your 125. I was looking for an SR500 Yamaha, but they were all over $1000.. That little Suzuki was a 5 speed thumper, with a top speed of like 80. But it was what I needed at the time to really gain confidence as a rider, I was just a kid.. That's the bike I rode when mastered wheelies around corners, going up stairs, kicking over bikes without using the compression release, etc. It was a good solid bike. If it only had one more gear...
Thanks guys! Now I'm searching for a 125cc bike on eBay as a suitable project. Little did I know my wishlist of 1: a K1200RS or 2: a slightly used Hayabusa wasn't going to be enough! Now I need a teeny tiny project to make me happy. Thanks 🙂👍 I already have GSX600F and a GSX750F starter projects....
im am 19 from canada i got a yamaha blaster atv and fabricated a cg125 motor into the frame ! its a little ripper. i got the quad for free and you can get the engine for literally like 200 dollars and they are super reliable. my other build im doing is a dt50lc engine into a mini moto dirt bike it's pretty much all done atm. cheers!
Good to see you guys doing some bike stuff again at long last. I love the muscle car stuff, but being an ardent biker and coming from the UK I am not so interested in owning one. I currently work in the Middle East and my future wife is a Chinese woman, so I am always interested in your videos.
There are some videos of this Peruvian kid working on gn125s, and does a "brat style" mod that has super similar to your design. You should check it out, he welds a custom seat support with a led strip and it looks awesome. I appreciate the way you frame your serpentza videos with the vcr tape intro/outro (nogistalgia factor), it's the little things. Your fathers stories are awesome. You do work that saves lives and is helping save this country. From east central Missouri, Stay Awesome we love you guys here, I am helping share your channel(s) and message for years now. Hi cmilk, love you guys, first saw C.S.C. in 2017.
OMG..Sitting here watching this vid as I just bought a mint 2012 GN, and just surfing through related vids and I'm thinking, man, this guy's voice sounds just like my South African cuzzies voice from serpentza and low and behold! Man this is so cool I this channel, had no idea you gad this, keep it awesome!
That was awesome guys!!! Any chance of a parts list for this build? Just as a comparison to get started, or even just an example parts list for the GN? This has been on my bucket list since i first found your channel and watched your build videos back in China. Didn't quite know what sort of build i wanted to do however, but this one ticks every box i wanted. I know exactly what paint job i'll do too! Can't wait!
I commuted 20 miles to work (one way) on a GN400 for a couple of years back in the early '80's. Not real inspiring as far as power goes, but it sipped gas and was as reliable as a stone. By the time I sold it I can truly say that it owed me nothing.
Awesome Video Winston! Love everything you and C-Milk put out. Just watched your Stay Awesome Documentary the other day and it was phenomenal. I also ended up renting the other documentaries just to watch them over again.
I really like the bike stuff, doing a custom bike build is also really good cause you can watch the transformation in an episode or two, you could make cool custom bikes make media on them, then sell or auction them, they're cool, unique, simple and not too expensive, and they would have story behind them... I think you could sell them
Used to ride one of these 25years ago while getting my license. Hated the look of it😅 What you guys did to it is awesome, totally different bike. Makes me wanna get one... Quick question regarding wheels/tires. What size did you end up with and how does it impact acceleration and top speed?
I got an old bike like yours. An ‘80 yamaha 400, the only thing i customized was the handle bars, a bit lower so i lean into the wind instead of being a drag cute sitting straight up. Rear Shock extensions would have been nice if i could have found some to lower it a bit. I like the seats the way they are as its like riding on the frame, for a short guy like myself it makes waiting at a light much easier having a seat instead of bars to straddle. To each their own tho, i like all the things you took off for their function. Especially the lights, ive come up on so many of these customed bikes that i couldnt see their signals and almost ran them down cuz of it.
lol i love you guys but it is funny that i live in the high rockies and yesterday was this first nice day i felt i could brave a ride with out freezing my butt off and you guys have more weather protection than i did just tooling in the garage in socal. With the stuff you guys have been through in china on street bikes some fire roads and cool towns would be a breeze for you. keep up the good work!

Condensed milk
Clear Milk
These guys are correct, it's for condensed milk. A Winston joke as I recall from Matt's wedding.
Cows milk
