    Neuroplasticity:
    1. Touch your head: "Is this what I want?"
    Touch your heart: "Why?"
    Touch your gut: "Do I really want this?" ;
    2. Focus your attention;
    3. Do deliberate practise; and DO NOT GIVE UP!
    4. Hold yourself accountable - Record your habits and ask yourself why you did the things you did.

I've been manifesting and creating vision boards since 2000. I wrote down in 3 separate instances the type of house size, etc I wanted and when. All 3xs I got them. The last one I wrote next door my sister, 3 acres plus, 4,000 sq ft, a library and a downstairs bedroom for my parents. The house I bought is 3 houses from sister's. The only thing is no downstairs bedroom. I completely believe in the law of attraction. What you think about, you bring about.

@sabaakhter8310 Hi, I just kept looking at my vision board and feeling the emotions. I learned that from watching the documentary, The Secret. I had a photo of an island that turned out to be Figi. It was a place a friend who was going to do travel nursing in that region invited me to go. Crazy.

I’ve been unknowingly manifesting since I was a young child. As I look back on my life, I got everything I ever wanted. I came from poverty, had very little formal education and yet I got very fabulous job I ever applied for. I wanted a horse - I’ve had 4. Even acquiring the house that I’m living in now was something short of a miracle. So I’m convinced that manifesting and working hard to reach your goals really do work. It blows my mind!

At 26 minutes, make your microhabits what you are looking for in someone else. Absolutely key. Fill your own gaps; don't look for someone to be your missing puzzle piece. THEN you can attract a fair partner match because you aren't trying desperately to fill an empty hole in yourself.

“I LOVE MY PILLOW!” I do this! My “I Love List” I have done this every morning for years. I teach it to my clients to this as well. I used to struggle with crushing depression and I truly desired to override my negative thought patterns, so I started training my brain to think “I LOVE . . . “ from the first second my eyes opened in the morning. It’s a Life changer!

Example, “wow are t I lucky having this amazing medication that is helping me right now.” Or sometimes I just shout “wow” and I ways feel better.

I did the same thing years ago after noticing how easily my kids picked up on my energy and would only be as positive and happy as I was on any given day.
I started just repeating the same positive thoughts over and over all the time and silently projecting "I love you" to every person I saw through the day, which made me feel almost euphoric.
My brain actually felt sore at first, like training a muscle that's not used to bending that way.
I'm not exactly sure when exactly it changed, I just realized one day a few months later that my thoughts were naturally dramatically more positive.

I had to pause the video at about the 45-minute mark because I started to tear up. I have all this longing for something, can't pinpoint what it or they are, and all the negativity and doubt I give myself is so overwhelming that I feel like I'm just stuck in a stand-off between me and life. Life is winning because it just keeps moving forward with or without me. It's also very ironic that I was talking with a friend last night of the possibilities of what I want to do since I recently started college at the age of 34, and I was talking about being a psychologist and how the brain fascinates me. I told her about how my college navigator was telling me what type of math classes I would need (because I love math) and she had said if I wanted to go further into math, maybe Neuroscience would be my thing. My friend said, "Why not do that? But why not go into BOTH?" And that made me pause because, why NOT go into both? Then I come across this post from a leading Neuroscientist talking with you about manifestation! I am sincerely trying to learn who I am, and I believe that I might be manifesting things into my life without even realizing it, haha. I love you, Mel! You have been one of the best parts of my journey to self-love and self-discovery and I can't thank you enough.

    1) Begin with being in a place of ABUNDANCE in your life

I have been doing this through out my whole life, but I called it a wish board. I moved my ideas and pictures to a photo album and years later, when through it; I got nearly everything I wanted that was in that album. It was crazy. Later in life, I wanted to work on a cold case, but I am not a cop or detective, but I had that in my mind and thought about that case. Well God, fate, not sure what, but I have been doing work on cold cases and that case, for 9 years. Thank you Mel! I teach in juvenile hall and work with students in credit recovery classes 6th-12th grade. As young as 6th grade many have already formed a negative mindset about their capabilities. Using your tools has made such a difference. I have posted a daily mantra and had them write it in their journal. Before tests we all say "we can do this" School is incredibly tough for these kids and I want them to see some source of inspiration.
I used your key phrase on two boys in 7th grade who struggle with behavior and academics-the two are typically related. The leadership group came to our classroom to recruit applicants. I took additional applications knowing they felt too embarrassed to do it. They know their image, and I want them to take steps to change it, and realize that they can. Later in class I gave them the applications, and they both laughed and said, "Mrs. Siebert, there is no way-they will kick us out". I looked both of them straight on and said "take the jump, I believe in you." Just to see their expressions, their eyes change when I said that was amazing. I don't think they have an adult in their life that has said that. Will continue to use your inspirational tools. For my own wonderful kids, myself and my amazing students.

    The breakdown:
    1. Intentional Practice: Techniques like manifestation, visualization, and affirmations prime your brain for thriving rather than just surviving. This rewires your brain towards abundance and success.
    2. Emotional Intensity and Repetition: Strong emotional reasons behind your goals (magnetic desire) enhance learning and brain rewiring. This drives consistent and motivated actions toward achieving your desires.
    3. Neuroplasticity: Your brain can change and grow at any age through neuroplasticity, which involves myelination, synaptic connections, and neurogenesis. This requires consistent practice and patience.
    4. Visualization and Affirmations: Visualizing your goals and using positive affirmations help rewire your brain by making desired outcomes feel real and attainable, thus reducing fear and increasing motivation.
    5. Gratitude and Mindfulness: Practices like gratitude and mindfulness reduce stress levels, enhance positive emotions, and improve brain function, making it easier to pursue and achieve your goals.
    6. Creating Vision Boards: Vision boards, or action boards, help keep your goals front of mind. Visualizing and giving gratitude for these goals helps to prime your brain to notice and seize opportunities.
    7. Overcoming Negative Beliefs: Identifying and replacing underlying negative beliefs with positive affirmations is crucial. This process overwrites old wiring in the brain with new, more empowering pathways.
    8. Daily Rituals: Simple daily habits like morning gratitude, deep breathing, and evening reflection on vision boards reinforce positive neural pathways and keep you focused on your goals.
    9. Stress Management: Managing stress through activities like meditation, nature time, and exercise is essential. High stress levels impair brain function and hinder progress toward your goals.
    10. Social Influence: Surround yourself with positive influences. Your social circle can impact your behaviors and mindset, so choose relationships that support your growth and aspirations.

Finding a best friend with mutual respect and some shared interests but also respect for each others different interests can happen when a toxic or uneven relationship ends and we give ourselves some time to heal and become more comfortable in our own skin. When we meet someone else, both while being our authentic selves, and accept each others authentic selves, it is amazing! I was with a covert narcissist 15 years and my husband of 6 years last week was married 34 yrs to an overt narcissist. We met online and realized both of us survived all that and no way would we ever treat each other like we had been treated. We communicate well with each other and we both take the others needs in mind when we make decisions, something neither of us felt in out first marriages.
Find you first and find acceptance of your strengths and quirks. Then go forth and just be you where you are so the right person can recognize the person that fits them, and you can find them. You will recognize the lack of redflags, the calm of the absence of drama.

When I was single, I had this guy that I am eyeing. (Christian’s perspective) A sister told me: If you want a godly man, you also need to be a godly woman.
That stuck with me and I worked on bettering my relationship with God.
Fast forward to this day: I am married to that man and the habit of drawing closer to God is still with me.
Translation: I get the part of assessing who you are, the partner that you desire, and filling in the gaps.

Agreed! The truth is that when we're learning something new( whatever it is), we tend to swing from one extreme to another - kinda like a pendulum until we find a balance! I'am 60 yrs old and have spent my entire life appeasing and giving to others while leaving myself at the bottom of the list. I just don't want to practice that behavior anymore, so I'm implementing more self- care lately but it's diffently a work in progress which is ok by me just as long as I try to keep moving forward💕💕🙏

I agree with everything that respected doctor has said I would also like to add that up the practice of yoga and meditation can greatly enhance one’s capacity to feel centered and to feel in the hot mode which encourages the manifestation of all the things that we will want and wish and we desire and the thing that we need as well as the things that we want and truly transform one’s life exponentially much quicker easier better than advantage of for yoga meditation is it gives you the state of calm and peace of mind immediately or almost immediately specially if you follow a proper guide or teacher was able to guide you to the states you know from possibly the very first session😊

    🤔🤔🤔
I grew up with "vision boards". (Actually they were called 'treasure maps' when I was younger)
I saw first hand how amazingly things happened. (Some of it would just blow your mind) But in true form for all teens blossoming into young adulthood, I decided to dismiss anything that worked labeling it as no more than a coincidence. Subsequently, I entirely dismissed 'treasure mapping' all together. When I read about "vision boards", I went: "Oh, it's a treasure map" and dismissed it...
But listening to Dr Tara's angle, it has definitely struck me as extremely valid! I'm comforted to know that I have a trove of old experiences and knowledges that I can draw from while I look at this again!
I am definitely going to be creating a vision board. An action board. I am going to look at it again, but from this much more sensible perspective! Thank you so much!

A brilliant podcast, Mel, the first time I have listened to your Podcast, but not the last. I have heard Dr Tara before and this is icing on the cake. At 80, I'm beginning a new board, no time like the presence. And, your two voices are most complimentary. Thank you from Mexico.

When manifesting a partner, I don't think we should manifest a specific person rather we should manifest someone we actually need to be with us in our ups and lows. Love shouldn't be forced, it should be from both sides

After listenig this podcast I created an afirmation for me, for everyday use: I open my mind for a new sources of abundance.
I hope to open my mind to see new possibilities to earn money and get all goods from the universe thanks to my artistic works.
After the podcast I feel released from my thoughts: I am too old, it's too late!
    Thank You!!!!

I loved this episode, but I actually believe the biggest barrier to change is that people don't believe that it is possible. Either because they've learned or experienced failure. But this episode actually gives hope because if you can get to a place where people will consider the possibility of change there is a space where change can occur.

Dear Dr. Bieber, "Tara" in sanskrit means the rescuer. Thank you for explaining the mechanism of change. It's June 27th, 2024 and I look forward to replying to this comment six months later being a better version of myself ❤
    Regards from India,

I have watched so many videos and listened to sooo many podcasts, but nothing has been so helpful, clear, professional and uplifting as this. Both of you are amazing, the right questions asked, at the right time…and as for the answers…groundbreaking. Great duo ! Thank you so much. You’ll be included in my daily gratitude list ❤

I really love the energy of you two. I also respect the fact that you are giving out free materials, unlike certain other snakesoil salesmen claim to help but then try to sell you several books, meditations and a live course on top. Shows that you actually care about contributing to the community.
Thanks for sharing your insights and keep up the good work! I'll put it to good use
