Very nostalgic video, and I also appreciate the “joie de vivre” that your offspring shares with you of this awesome system. As a fighting game fan I absolutely loved the abundance of fighters the Sega Dreamcast has, with most made by Capcom. #SEGA
Thank you so much! My daughter loves playing that game (my boys did too), but she had to wait until the Dreamcast was repaired to play with me. That took about six months. She's not patient, but she did okay waiting. HAHA! Yes, there are so many good fighters and beaten-ups on the DC. Power Stone, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Mortal Kombat Gold... I could go on and on. An amazing system that was ahead of its time, we don’t need to get into why Sega failed on all levels but this was a powerhouse that could’ve stayed around longer and maybe so would’ve Sega. This is prob in my top 3 of favorite consoles, the library covers everyone! Some stellar picks in this vid, some of my favorites-Powerstone, Marvel Vs Capcom, NFL2K, ready to rumble, soul calibur, house of the dead, hydro thunder, THPS, PSO and of course Jet Set Radio! And that’s just scratching the surface, great vid Scott!!!

I did have 13 - 15 faves picked out and played, but I trimmed it down to 11. I figured why shoot it all in one go? Besides, I didn’t want the video to be an hour long 😂

When we filmed the “Nostalgic Games” video, at the end of the video, my daughter asks, “Can we play the fishing game now?” I turn on the Dreamcast and the video fades out. What you don’t see is at that very moment, my Dreamcast’s lens died! So, we couldn’t play anything until I got it repaired. It was so ironic. So, when you see us playing Sega Marine Fishing in this video, that was our first time playing it together. Fantastic video! The dreamcast is such a great system(even if it's a little loud lol) gave us great games like sonic adventure and blue stinger(we know it's not that great but we still love it lol)
Great video Scott. like i mentions i only got into the dreamcast a few years ago but i love it! funny enough i played sonic adventure on the gamecube and only found out a few years back that it was out first on the dreamcast. I didnt know gauntlet legends was on the dreamcast i only ever played it on the n64 and ps1

I was awake for a few minutes in the middle of the night and read your comment then thought I’d comment in the morning. I saw “360” but being groggy, I didn’t think acting if it. 😂 To me and a kitty of people, the OG Xbox and then the 360 were kind of the spiritual successors to the DC, So that could be what you were thinking about too. Either way, I agree, the DC & 360 are both great consoles. 😁 Thanks for both comments! I appreciate it.
@GAMECLOSET oh yeah I mean if you think about it most of segas games were exclusive to the OG xbox after the dreamcast and even on the 360 they weren't exclusive but they were preferred since they ran better
