There is only 1 difference: the 7800+ comes with cordless, two button gamepad which is modeled after the original European 7800 gamepad controller that we did not get in the USA. That very same gamepad can be purchased and used with the 2600+ because it has a dongle that connects to the controller ports. BOTH consoles play the exact same games: 2600 & 7800 games. So, essentially, if you have a 2600+, you'd be buying a 7800+ JUST for the look of it only. I will be having a video on this soon. Thanks for the comment! 😎

Absolutely! The third one got roasted by critics, but there’s a couple really cool things: it has two different campaigns; one if you do it solo, and it ends up being different if you do it co-op. So, you are getting more bang for your buck! Plus if you like that series, try Lost Planet 1,2, and 3. They’re different from Dead Space, of course, but so great games! This is a 2600 video, not a 7800 video. 😀 I do have a second 2600 video with 40 more games too. I also have a 7800 video as well. Keeping them separate for these videos was a well planned idea as I wanted to address each console's games. I did not say that 7800 Dig Dug was "better". That is a matter of opinion. I said it was "more sparkly" hence the graphical upgrade that I did actually show right then. There is a comparison video in the works, but that is a different video with a different subject. This 51 BEST 2600 video was actually a compilation video from 5 other videos I did, but I added Pricecharting values and updates for the video itself. The 40 MORE 2600 video is all original. It probably won’t be two weeks. The unfortunate side of ordering items is delay. I side on caution when it comes to timing of delivery these days. Yes, the box opening was lomger, but I added fun to it rather than sawdust and boring dryness. I’m not a tech channel, but a comedy gaming channel, so I do my schtick with everything. But I wasn’t aware of the additional items I’d need in my own setup to use this camera to its full potential hence it being just a big opening and first look. The next video will show operations. I’ll take my time learning what I can do, but within just a week, I won’t be fully well versed as that takes time. The manufacturer said they’d just like to see at least one video prior to Black Friday, and in the limited time, a box opening is all I could provide (until additional equipment arrives- the PoE hub). I was told that the CTO of the company liked the video and my style and he’s eager to see the next couple of videos. 🤷 I’m excited to do some fun and crazy stuff with it! Thanks for watching. Firstly, you can get old Atari 2600 & 7800 cartridges at gaming expos, garage sales, game stores, eBay, etc. Secondly, Atari has released a couple new games too, and they have re-released some games as "Special Editions" that were limited and the exact same as the originals. Also, there is a GREAT Homebrew scene out there too. Atari bought Atari Age last year and that means all the Homebrew games on there are theirs too. As for the 2600+ vs the 7800+, they both play 7800 & 2600 games. The only real difference is that the 7800+ can natively use its own bluetooth controllers. Atari is releasing the controllers to use with bluetooth dongles that will work with the 2600+ and the original consoles too. I hope that help you.
