The other Indy controversy - 2008 Brickyard 400

In 2024, the Brickyard 400 will be making its return to the NASCAR schedule, after the series spent the last 3 years racing around the road course layout of Indianapolis, for the Verizon 200, crossing over with IndyCar's 2nd visit to the GP layout. However, will it be successful this time, given the reason it failed last time, which this video talks about.

The early CoT was a gorgeous car. It’s a shame this race happened as it did. I think the track has potential, but I am not sure how this will go.

I've always hated the CoT. It's just too boxy an the wing just did not work for NASCAR.

Weren't IMS in 05 prepared to run it as a non championship race and do their own everything?
Also Indy and tire failures...that goes back to the first few years of the Brickyard 400 as well as the Indy 500 too
