We are glowing up in 2024! Here is my ultimate summer glow up guide to help you look and feel your BEST!
Chicken recipe:
1. Cut 1/2 onion, 1/2 red bell pepper, 1 jalepeno
2. Cut 1 lb of chicken, season with olive oil and chicken rub.
3. In a pot with olive oil, sautee onion & peppers for about 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
4. Add chicken to pot and sear for 5-7 minutes.
5. Add about 1/4 cup of chicken broth to pot.
6. Add two tablespoons of tomato paste (I substituted with Italian Bomba paste from Trader Joe’s).
7. Add additional seasoning (optional step).
8. Cover pot until chicken broth reduces.

My biggest issue is snacking. I measure and track my snacks because it WILL throw me overboard. I love texture and salt. So crunchy and salty is a must always. I feel like I cannot control it lol
maybe try more smaller meals rather than less big meals? could be just difference in appetite
Id say drink more water as you have the snack. And when you’re satisfied stop instead of when the bag is done or eating mindlessly!
THIS 😂 I’ve just stopped buying unhealthy snack foods all together. If someone buys them in the house I take a handful and then leave the rest there bc it’ll be gone by the next time I go back to the kitchen

I am in currently in the phase of doing things for myself outside of my partner. You are absolutely right about loosing yourself in a relationship, my partner would always say that I had to make myself happy first and that he’s just supposed to add to it but I found it hard not to make decisions based on both of us or surround my time, routine, and activities based on when he worked and was off. I am not starting to think “What would I do if I were single” (but also saying Lord I don’t want to be single, I’m just trying to think for myself lol), but I started to notice that I was unhappy in the way I was doing things such as wanting to wake up early but didn’t want to disturb him or like you said, eat early, to go to bed early, but wouldn’t in order to eat with him and stay up with him but I am starting to base the things I do around that and, like you said, not put him at the center of things. Thank so much for your videos! You are so inspirational! 💗

girl I feel you on those lash extensions. They had me broke!! I've been loving lash lifts and the mascara combo though recently. More budget friendly and easier to maintain. Also the falsies you have on are literally giving extensions! 😍

Such a great video and tips for a 3 month Glow up. This came right on time! I'm turning 40 in June (#TeamCancer). And I want to lose 40 for 40. I've lost about 30 so far so I'm so close. I've been intermittent fasting, working out, increasing my protein, water intake, etc. But last week I did some super intense workouts and broke my fast 2 or 3 days in a row and the scale was NOT pleased LOL! Your tips made me realize I probably should be focusing on low impact workouts cause I was STARVING afterwards! Love your vid and Love you Jan! You are truly in your glow up era. Thanks for making this video! I had a huge wake-up call last weekend when I realized I was eating unhealthy portions and late night snacking. My boyfriend is trying to gain weight, and he has to snack frequently and eat heavy starchy foods. And I've unfortunately mimicked this behavior. I've started to drink more water and eat fruit to avoid snacking on junk food. It's only been a few days, but I already feel like I have more energy.

The advice of starting moving with pilates or walking is great, I wish I would have known this! After a few months of huge stress where I stopped exercising completely, I went straight to the gym just to feel better and I ended gaining weight instead. Not muscle, just fat. It’s because I started being way more hungry than normally and eating much more than regular. Now I need to fix that 🥲. Great video ❤
