    Hello, I'm sorry I'm the only one with errors, when I click load possibilities, many appear, even more than a million, but when I press the generate button I get a python error: Traceback (most recent call last), I would like to know what's going on or any idea what's going on.

    You know what would be an awesome feature for this? A socket system. I'm setting up FZRandomizer to make random creatures. A socket system (the way I'm imagining it) would use Empties as spawnpoints for different parts. So for example you have a selection of different Torsos, but they're shaped very differently. So you set Empties labeled "Arm" and "Leg" in the appropriate place on each Torso piece, and it will only spawn Arms and Legs on those particular spots. If a Torso has multiple Arm points, it will spawn multiple Arms for example (so you could go from a 2 legged human to a 6 legged monster or whatever).

    this addon is really cool. I had a chance to use the previous version. but I would expect it to be something like filtering. For example, a blue hat should never be matched on a golden head. or something like that. if you have an idea to add this it would definitely be a great improvement.

      Thats why none of them make color or aesthetic sense, just use algoritm and make a lot of "non-unique" stuff, i miss when artists made real unique pieces to sell even as nft

    Do you think there's a way to exclude certain traits that don't work together when generating? For example a hair trait that wouldn't work with a jacket with its hood up, as in the meshes intersect. Would love if you saw this, thank you and I LOVE this addon and you are a great person for releasing for free!

      Not sure thats possible for nft generating even for 2d. Unless you put the hoodie clothing in the hairs folder

      I'm happy you were able to come up with this. a true life saver. I have a question though,
      i understand that fz randomizer now uses proxy swap and its more like using the geometry node to generate them. that means its just a model that can be changed indistructably into the other variations, yeah?
      what if lets say i generated 10 variants and i needed those 10 variants each to be exported as fbx files for a game that i need those 10 models, how do i go about it?
      i hope i was able to put this question correctly😁

    Sorry if i'm spamming comments lol i saw many people asking if you could implement a .JSON type file along (or instead of) the .CSV file. I'm working on an NFT collection (about 1 month left before minting) and my biggest worry is how to add the metadata to 10K different NFTs... my .CSV file is working but not as organized as yours it's very different i don't know why.     Is it possible to use only one body/object but generate variants using only matlib? Let's say I have one body but I will have 100s or 1000s different text(which comes from image textures) projected on the surface of the object.

    I am not so sure if add-ons could have interactive visual interface properties but if you could achieve to create a system which (resembles ai neural network node schemes) subcollections have nodes between each of them which we can edit, that really would make your add-on the best combination add-on out there.     My problem: my blender can not generate more than 100 variants (big model)
    Maybe solution: it's wonderful if you can generate 50 variants first, then when you generate the 2nd time you have an option that all news variants are different from the first 50 variants ?

    So I have a dumb question, Imagine I have 4 bodies and 10 materials, obviously I want the gold for each body to be the rarest( so I copy it and apply gold to the 4 of them as object not data. Now for the rest I put a matlink, do I need to put the matlink for the gold too

    first view 🔥thx for this update it will really help...Can you in the future add a function for like renaming or something cause when i create 100 nfts and then again more 100 the file name is not continued and the i have to rename all the 100 files again for it to continue and and also if possible a js file for each nft so that it can choose the attributes in opensea.....Loved this addon it really helps and it is the best one on the internet..

      I'm guessing u can use the v1, since they duplicate the mesh and I believe u can manually export it from there

      @@benson2907 I figured it out. if you add animations on the export window but keep the settings on png in the render tab then it will export each one individually as it's own file.

      Great question! Because then you will just end up generating every possibility. And then you will mess up the rarity system. For example: say you have only 2 possibilities A or B
      A is 90% chance of being selected
      B is 10% chance of being selected
      If you only generate 1 unique random selection. It’s likely that you will end up with selection A. However if you generate 2, then you’ll always get A, and B and then the 90/10 rarity split won’t matter any more. You’ve generated all possibilities and effectively, rarity doesn’t matter any more.
      This is a super basic explanation. But the idea is leaving a buffer zone for ungenerated possibilities. It’s like a safety zone for allowing the rarity system to function properly. On the flip side, TOO many possibilities, can even make all objects TOO rare. It’s helpful to experiment with different numbers and see what generates from experimentation 😊

    Is it possible to randomize objects that are attached to an armature in advance so that all of. The new generations can have the same animation?

      Yes! 😊 this is already built in! Just make a collection that contain armatures with different animations on them. Note that each bone should have the same naming convention for it to retarget properly!

    I’m working on a NFT project too to raise awareness and funds for a film about a a rare disease called Periodic Paralysis.     respect your work bro!! How about adding this feature : "Subcollection within Subcollection". Example You have hat_1, hat_2, hat_3 and each hat has 10 accessories, That means it will generate hat_1 x 10, hat_2 x 10, hat_3 x 10 and it will make a lot more variety because right now this plug-in only generate each part one times and it go to next part.

    Hey! There's something i must be doing wrong, i made my host collection with 6 sub collections with 4 variants each but when i try to calculate variations says that only 1 ! What can i do???! Helpp haha

    Within my "Body" collection I don't have single items, I have collection with multiple items. But in this case I cannot select the subcollection that I want to add rarity to... The FZRandomizer doesn't recognizea collection, only a single item?

      @@Milky12D export as alembic? knowing blender even a little could probably help your career. Maxon is behaving like an autodesk at the moment I'd be worried where c4d is headed if I were you. Blender is free. It will only cost you your time. I'm not a blender artist primarily but I see lots of positives n knowing some things in it.

    I downloaded FZ Randomizer, I installed it, it shows me how many possibilities there are but when I generate it gives me an error with a few lines of code ... What can I do?
