Hey, thank you for posting this video. Since realising that I have avoidant attachment issues, I have been trying to get to the bottom of this to find a way to deal with/heal it. Your description of it being like an internal tornado is very apt. I now realise that it is the issue of self-trust that I need to focus on. Your video has given me a greater sense of clarity. Thanks
@6:03 : this is so true, and means that that it helps to be aware of the fact that addressing dismissive avoidant behavior can by itself be very dismissive too, making one dismiss the DA.
I need major help. Im so overwhelmed of my lack to understand my emotions and hate seeing the damage ive caused in my marriage to my anxiously attached husband. I love him but im stuck in looking at his flaws, feeling like he doesn't understand me and me responding with being cold and not giving my self to him. I make so many damands of him i don't know what to do when he tries. Then he criticize me and i truly shut down. Please help i need your couses.
I've gone to tons of therapy over the years. Nothing really helped with understanding my emotions and honoring them more that CBT cognitive behavioral therapy. I think it can help you to.

I think I might be too late and lost the avoidant I was going out with...we have contact and are friendly, but things dont look good. I didnt know about attachments and went to anxious.
Therapy is about healing yourself, not your partner. It is magical thinking to say, "if only my partner learned about their attachment style, then everything will be fixed". It also allows you to ignore your own shadow work, which may lead to better boundaries for what you allow in your relationships.
This makes me remember how I viewed things in the past, when I have been in a similar situation What improved life for me: if they don't want advice, I won't give them advice I rather respect what they want and will not try to force them to change They are maybe not ready for it or want to find their own authentic way of doing it Then all this energy within myself goes into my own growth and building a life that is fulfilled and rich I hope sharing this is helpful to someone 🙂
@@SuperSiegeBrosI agree with you 100% and as a recovering DA I do wish I was able to have a conversation with my ex partner about attachment styles so I could better see what I was doing and how to heal and love one another better. You’re 100% it’s not your responsibility to “fix” your partner, AND no DA truly wants to be a DA.
Today is July 4th, Independence Day! Or as I call it as of right now, happy avoidant day! We’re meeting our own needs today, we don’t need anyone else, we’re independent! Today is the day all the counter-dependents rejoice!
i am the avoidant, I was fine but we have a huge problem in our relationship right now which was a bad thing i did, now i know how vunerable he is im getting nervous. i wanna be there for him healing is not a straight path though and im so confused
@@Blamor9 this is not AI. This is me. And the Testimonials are meant for inspiration, because many people think of avoidant partners cannot heal, or that they are beyond hope and this is simply not true. I am also not shy when it comes to selling my products, because I know they work, and when people do the work, they heal generations to come. I can’t imagine a better investment than that.

Not your fault
The most difficult part is to get the DA to watch this video and actually want some changes in their lives..

Like the content but the testimonials are a little too much

Is this AI? The speech and body language looks robotic and the movements have a pattern. Also wayyy too many testimonials (selling too much)
