    Thank you. I couldn't have gotten the carburetor off without your video. Now the mower starts just like it's supposed to.

    Used your video yesterday to replace carb on my Toro 20332. THANK YOU. Worked fine with new carb. Suggest if your mower starts before you remove the old carb that you run out the gas tank, and let engine cool. No messy gas drips and easier to remove fuel line.

    The part that was likely clogging your was clogging mine. I bought the mower $30 offerup and took it apart once but it wouldnt run with a new plug and cleaning. After your video i cleaned the carb better and used a wire and that little hole was clogged. I just finished my lawn! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!

    I really have to THANK YOU many, many times, for your great video and the straight / clear explanation you provided on how to go about repairing my Briggs & Stratton carburetor (on a Craftsman lawnmower) that would start but die out immediately... I was ready to bite the bullet but saved my family about $300 by not having to buy one. It works perfectly after following your instructions... THANKS!

    Thanks so much for the video. Similar layout lawn mower so this made it super easy. Didn't have carb cleaner so ended up using break cleaner. Anyways followed the instructions and it fired right up. Thanks again!!!

    Thank you! my year old M220 not start been sitting 4-6 weeks quick carb cleaner stray to opening it start ran 5seconds so went along step by step with you and IT STARTED first pull! after running bout 5min it runs a bit rough my guess is the dirty air filter for that but again thank you for the video great work!

      Glad it helped… Make sure you have fresh fuel in it also. The unleaded regular fuel does not hold up well and gums up the fuel system… Also may have water in it from condensation?.

  • @BuckMeister.

    The white jet holder plastic 3 tube piece was not completely disassembled. The two tubes joined together needs slightly twisted and they will slide off then exposing about 3 holes on the middle tube that need to be cleaned and then reassembled. This needs to be done!

      sounds like you have the plastic carb with the main jet that snaps in. I have a video on cleaning one of those too... you shouldn't have any trouble and be back up and running soon. Good job and thanks for your visit

    You never disconnected the two plastic pieces in the jet. The two plastic pieces separate and that is where the jets need to be cleaned. Just a heads-up for the viewer.

    That " little port " is your main jet ! Nice video but I drill out the main jet with a # 72 drill bit .025 works great , starts first pull ,,,,even the ones without the auto choke . I'm a 74 year old machinist and I'm like you " Old School "

    The carburetor cleaner and the starter spray are they the same ?
    If not, can you give us the link to where to buy ?
    I slow down the video and try to look at the can but it's blurry
    I never use those things , so I don't know where to buy or what it look like so I can search on Amazon.
    Thank You

      You can buy starting fluid at most any auto parts store, Walmart, Etc. Very handy to have around!
      Starting fluid is different than carb cleaner

    I don't see an inline fuel filter so if there is not one you can be sure to do that again in the future.

    Plastic Carburetor---- What!!!!

  • @RobertStrange-oh3qj
    @RobertStrange-oh3qj ปีที่แล้ว

    You will have to do it all over again next year OR SOONER Because that Little hole is too small. REAM it out to one size smaller with a micro drill set.

    These crappy plastic carburetors are the bane of American homeowners who don't really know what's wrong when their mowers won't start and it's expensive to take them to the shop. I installed a rebuilt carb on my mower and it cranked right up, but needed more and more pulls before it would crank as the summer wore on. Now after 3 months, this rebuilt carb is already clogged. So disgusted with American corporations and their obsession to squeeze every penny's profit out of everything they make. "Made in America" is no longer an endorsement.

  • @michaelwolf6424
    @michaelwolf6424 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't trust plastic carburetors. They're bound to screw up eventually just because that's what plastic does best.
