This episode came out in my birthday so...
We’ve come a long way. From the hate Ahsoka received from the fans when she first appeared in the clone wars movie to the pure joy she gave the fans in her first live action appearance. Love it.
Just lovely. That's how you develop a character. Movies wouldn't be able to do this. It had to be animation.

Not to mention, if you close your eyes or simply focus, the music does one hell of a good job putting you in Ahsoka's place, touching the core of your imagination, your empathy, placing you in a completely different world. Even if it's just for a second or two, it's more than enough to get me going, how crazy is that? That's a special composition right there.

Oh yeah it definitely is even if so far that’s the greatest moment because I got a feeling marvelous going to hit us with a few and so are the other future Star Wars live action series. But this will definitely be one of the biggest and greatest moments even years down the road

Yeah...., but the one thing I'm sad about, is that we won't see any live-action lightsaber duel between Ahsoka and Vader.
The emperor vs Maul and Savage, Ahsoka and Rex escaping Order 66, Ahsoka vs Maul, Satine's death and Obi wan walking out on the battlefield in the red mandalorian armour, Ahsoka vs Vader, there are so many amazing moments in clone wars (and rebels)...
Yo that scene where Luke comes to the final battle of last jedi or that scene where the lightsaber dissappears from Rey's hand and comes to Kylo holy shit that was good, you gotta admit
Okay I said the best thing I’ve seen. Those two are my my top two. The others mentioned are cool or I haven’t seen them yet.
I love the scene in the first battle, where she switches off the light sabers and just disappears in the fog.

@@sh0cktim3 She did well trying to get the voice as close as she could. It helps Filoni wrote it so he can write her words the way Ahsoka says them. Lots of care on Rosario's side. She clearly wanted to not just appease fans but honour Ashley Ecklstein.

Wife asked why I was yelling. I said, you don't understand, after order 66 the jedi were almost wiped out, Ahsoka survived and she has been through so much. We didn't have much to cheer for jedi wise in the last three movies.
We honestly should've had Dave filoni make the sequels. What a god send.

The reason her montrails are shorter is because of filming the fight scenes. It was much easier for her to move when they are shorter otherwise they would have made them longer.

Yeah they said this. And looks like they’re gonna do something to make them look longer for the future. People said one of the people from the makeup departmant tweeted this, means we’re gonna see her again! Maybe they’re thinking to add some cgi on the montrals, I still prefer this one without the cgi but we’ll see.
I'm surprised people didn't realize this and we're upset. If they had made them long and she tried to do the fighting that would have gotten in the way just cuz something's in animated well doesn't mean it translates to live action well
I didn't complain because I knew the people making this are some of the biggest Star Wars fans alive. It's not like they just missed it. Of course there had to be a good reason.

Last Time we Saw Ahsoka in 2020 was The Finale of Clone Wars ... But Now She Returns in The Mandalorian
Usually when bringing an existing character into live action, there gripes with the design and casting choice.
But Ahsoka is one one of the few exceptions. She looks AMAZING, she honestly looks like she got plucked straight out of Rebels
Dave Filioni gets it. Having teased Ahsoka all season, when it came time to show her, he went balls to the wall and pretty much won over the entire fanbase in the first three minutes
I am so happy they got Rosario to play Asoka. She really does the character a justice. Plus she looks JUST LIKE THE TV SHOW!!

Very clearly, there is a reactor in this video that says she had them in Rebels. But I stand by what I said, I don't think that everyone is aware that she had them in Rebels or even knows she showed up in Rebels. Maybe they do and forgot, either way, their reaction suggested to me that they did not know. That's all I'm saying, it's not bad or anything.

Rosario Dawson was also a classmate of Hayden Christensen when both of them were taking acting class back when they were teenagers, then both of them starred in the same movie, "Shattered Glass", and as we know, Hayden Christensen later starred as Anakin Skywalker. Now Rosario Dawson was cast as Ahsoka Tano who in the Star Wars lore was Anakin's padawan (student) when she was a teenager. It's amazing to think that Rosario has known Hayden literally since she was a teenager just as Ahsoka has known Anakin since she was a teenager.
This is what expanding a universe is supposed to do. Take people like me who have no idea who Ahsoka Tano is and make me want to know more about her.

I don’t think the title “The Jedi” was referring to Ahsoka. She left the order during the clone wars and technically isn’t a Jedi. I think the title was referring to Grogu because we learned he was trained at the Jedi temple

If you watch the episode in Spanish it used the feminine article of "The" so it is 100% referring to Ahsoka. Unless Grogu has actually been female this whole time lol

I’m not a big reactor when I watch movies or shows, I cried at the end of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars Rebels that about it, but when Ashoka’s lightsaber showed up I did start laughing with joy for the entire scene.

Don't under estimate the Dark Knight. There's some excellent videos out there with Batman standing toe to toe with Vader.
