Fun fact: Dave Filoni created Ahsoka´s character in the Clone Wars animated series.
He wanted her character to be disliked from the get go. So he could develop her character properly.
If you remember, Ahsoka was rash and irresponsible, arrogant even.
By the end, she ended up being the most beloved female jedi of all time.
And like the only known and popular female jedi 😂😂
@@Lorenatpwk The only known? Hardly. The most known I´d say is Rey, but only because even people who are not really Star Wars fans watched those terrible movies.
Being the most popular is like being the most liked one, like I said, she´s the most loved one, yes.
But there´s Luminara Unduli, Bastila Shan and many others, but they´re not really "mainstream".
Rey had more reach but she´s not very likable. So yes, Ahsoka wins, hands down.

(some you already mentionned) but yeah Arlindo you are right. Maybe you should get some more into the lore. There is many great female Jedi out there. Meetra Surik being my favorite after Ahsoka.
She's actually just one of the most beloved characters regardless of her gender. And also: She's... no... Jedi! 😉

I think it should have been Ashley.
I would have liked to have seen Ashley, just because she was able to encompass the character from an audio perspective. However we have no way of knowing if her face and movements could match. That’s the problem translating comic book, movie/tv series (animated) and video games to live action. It will not always mesh the perfect way in your head. It can’t; people are different even amongst families. She does seem to mesh well. I was impressed/attracted by her playing “Mimi” in “RENT” the movie version

@@whitelighter2040 The problem is Ashley doesn't look anything like Ahsoka. And not only does Rosario Dawson look like Ahsoka but she's also a great actor.
In the final fight they are all surprised that the magistrate is able to keep up with Ahsoka, but while the magistrate is doing her best to kill Ahsoka (and has the adrenaline rush of fear as well), Ahsoka has to try to keep the magistrate alive so she can interrogate her. This gives the magistrate enough of an edge to compete on a level field with Ahsoka's superior skill.
It looks to me that Ashoka is playing with her until she loses a lightsaber. then she takes it seriously and wins quite quickly.
I can also accept an out-of-world explanation that he actress is Diana Lee Inosanto, her father is Dan Inosanto that was the training partner of Bruce Lee that also was her godfather, and where she get the Lee middle name. She grew up with Brandon Lee and both of them were trained by her father. So the explanation can be that the actress is a competent fighter.

Dawson is literally the PERFECT live-action Ahsoka. She looks exactly how I have always imagined her IRL.

i do love cinematically how much The Mandalorian leaned hard on the western/samurai movie influences; especially considering both of those genres borrowed heavily from eachother over the generations

@@johnnyspeed8852 she is instrumental actually! Her decision to leave the order was but yet another catalyst for Anakin falling to the dark side. He saw the order that he devoted his life to, that he trusted, brake his trust because of them blaming Ahsoka and her leaving. It was because of the hubris and arrogance of the Jedi Order that she left. Because she, much like Anakin later in life, became disillusioned with the order. That is why she is an integral and instrumental part of the Skywalker Saga. Plus she also has a direct link to the main character of Star Wars. *Cough* Anakin *Cough* *Cough*

We love Ahsoka because great care was taken to craft her development and story arcs. She is 100% relatable and is a well developed character in the lore. There are numerous female Star Wars characters that we love and some we don't.

The Mandalorian season 2 was insane
It's one thing to translate characters from live action to animated, but they pulled off something pretty remarkable by translating animated characters to live action without much deviation.
Ahsoka was holding back so she could defeat and humble her. She wanted the information not her death or injury.

That's John Wayne's grandson (Brendan Wayne) doing the gun slinging in the Mando suit. He also does all the "walking". He walks exactly like John Wayne. (John Wayne had small feet)

Ahsoka shows how bad ass and so much other development into her character. She controlled that fight from start until she found the moment to end it not killing her opponent because she needed her alive for information, but also because she's not a stone cold hearted murder either. She could have easily killed her and that would have been the end lol

I always thought Ahsoka's head tails should have been longer. Shaak Ti had long tails and Ahsoka is at least as old as Shaak Ti was

But we can speculate that there are unknown number Jedi that survived.
If there were enough to make the inquisitors and then those inquisitors were tasked with hunting down others survivors, there must have been a significant amount to keep them busy
The survivors were probably mostly Sentinels that were on assignment when Order:66 was given.
There's at least a dozen or so if we include the Canon books and comics. There could be a fair amount more, too. The need for the purge following the initial Order 66 suggests that enough Jedi survived to be a problem for Sideous (although even one surviving would likely be considered a problem)
By the time of the Imperial Remnant? Almost certainly less than two dozen across the galaxy, but with plenty of Force-Sensitives either having been missed or coming into their own since the fall of the Republic.
If those guys saw how many clone troopers Ahsoka has fought at close range....They would shite in their pants.

others speak of issues regarding CGI...I have issues with people trying to pull animated characters into the real world. that said, Ahsoka is one example of how close one can get. in the right light, with the right angle, she IS Ahsoka. most other times, I can see nothing but a human cosplaying as her. so, yeah.

I would have thought Ahsoka would have known Yaddle as well, but I guess from the Tales of the Jedi shorts, Dooku killed her shortly after the events of the Phantom Menace. Maybe Ahsoka was not yet at the Temple, or too young to remember?
According to Tales of the Jedi yaddles death was within the time frame after qui gons funeral. Unless if there was a time jumped I missed. But even Doku confronted Palpatine and told him “you didn’t have to have qui gon killed.” Since anakin was like around 8 years old. Ahsoka was still a toddler in her village. But I may have to rewatch it again just in case I missed something
