    Those 5:55 push ups looks like open diamond push ups, I do them when I´m doing explosive routines, I mean I use that form to explode and do my superman push ups. I got that from Dejan Stipke.
    And brother, you´re the expert, but I have always done the normal push ups with my hands straight and never had any wrists injuries, I even do explosive fist push ups, as I also train in combat sports, and my wrists are like bricks, of course, I´m a "perfect form" nerd, lol, so every push up variation I do, I always try to improve my form, as it has to be perfect.
    Anyways man, you, along with Michael Vazquez, Frank Medrano and Andrea Larosa have became my top 4 calisthenics coaches, even tho I started long ago with this beuatiful passion, It´s always great to learn and improve even in the basics, with the top of the notch in the calisthenics world. Salutes my friend, and I´m glad to have found this channel.

    What is wrong with using small scapula muscles? Push ups should not be limited to only chest, shoulders and triceps.
    Also, when you rotate the wrist internally, your rotator cuff is at risk. Yes, your chest probably works more, but it's worse for the shoulder.

    • @baudysdev
      @baudysdev 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You use your scapula muscles when you pull so you don't want to use them when you push. Only expection should be when you do heavy weighted dips because you just want to push as much kgs as possible.

    • @david-cn5nf
      @david-cn5nf 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@baudysdev Why don't you want to use the scapula muscles when doing push ups?

    • @baudysdev
      @baudysdev 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@david-cn5nf because you want to activate chest, triceps and shoulders as much as possible. If you want to do more reps in one set, then use scapula muscles but if you want your PUSH training to be efficient then don't use them.

    • @david-cn5nf
      @david-cn5nf 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@baudysdev Well, if you train like that, good luck with muscle imbalances and injuries.

    • @baudysdev
      @baudysdev 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@david-cn5nf I train my scapula muscles when I train planche or pull... So don't worry about my imbalances.

    But I saw in 6:00 , your finger is off the ground so you are not using that finger strength and that means your using more strength from one side of your hand and not the other. And at first you said that you can get injured.
