We did this walk today, leaving out the wander around Mullion and going straight to the Chocolate Factory! Your relaying of the instructions were great although I did check it on Google Earth before too just in case! We had a great walk, thank you!

hey guys, lovely video. i'm from mullion, lived there all my life until i was 22 when i moved up country to doncaster where i have been now for 10 years, i have only been back home twice in 10 years :( .. but i am going back in september :) i cannot wait!! i will be laid down on polurrian beach everyday no doubt. when i was a child, in the summer i would go swimming in mullion harbour, as my aunty lived in one of the houses that are now rented holiday homes. Did you happen to go and grab an annes pasty? they are the best in cornwall. Glad you enjoyed your visit in my home village :)

Thank you for these walks. My parents both love watching the videos. They are both in their late 80s now and live in North Cornwall but cannot walk like they used to, having got leg problems. They have all the books that you use and have done a lot of the walks in the past so they bring back memories for them. It has inspired me to get my camcorder out and do a few of my own for them to watch since I live near Penzance.

That is a wonderful, thoughtful comment - it's lovely to think that your parents are watching! Say 'Hi!' from us xx If we have missed their favourite walk, let us know and we will try and get there. Sarah

I shall tell them you replied, thank you. I have just told them about the latest ones you have added and they are currently watching the Poldhu to Mullion Cove one. They stay at a holiday property at Mullion Cove and it can be seen in your video. Will you be going further up the North Cornish coast at all or is it too far from where you live? There are some amazing coastal walks between Boscastle and Morwenstow near the North Devon border. I think you have covered most of their favourite walks in Cornwall, apart from that area, though. Thanks again for the videos. Incidentally, what sort of camera do you use? Is it a camcorder or the video mode on a digital camera? It looks superb quality.

We will be visiting North Cornwall after the peak holiday season, allow the A30 to free up a bit! I would like to cover every walk in the green Classic Walks Cornwall book. We've walked around Morwenstow before and that is on our hitlist. We use our old iphone 4 and 5 to record, although Andrew has recently acquired an ipad mini. We have a seven year old Nikon Coolpix P310 to take the seascape and landscape views (the view finder is difficult to see in sunlight) and I put it all together in iMovies. Our microphones are homemade using a pair of apple earphones and sponge to reduce wind noise - there is a demonstration video on line! (not ours). So nothin' fancy! Sarah

Wow. That is a surprise; you use smart phones and an ipad! I have never tried the video mode on my Motorola phone. I shall have to check it out (and the strange earphones and sponge thing). I shall look out for your Morwenstow area walks. Thanks for the reply and happy walking.

Another top video. I did this walk a couple of years ago. As your film shows, some stunning views with plenty of interesting places to stop off at on the way. Thanks for posting.

Another lovely video - a great mix of information, entertainment, spectacular scenery and pearls of wisdom from Andrew!! As always, had to watch it twice. Not only do you review pasties (John's favourite yum!) and ice cream but chocolate too!

Hi guys I've been to Mullion many times like you ice cream or a pasty and a walk round when you have walked round the hotel go towards the farm and you will see concrete blocks from the old RNAS Mullion airfield they used to fly airships from there to find u-boats in WW1.

That's amazing - what a lovely place to spend your honeymoon!! One year we bought huge easter eggs from the chocolate factory and challenged the kids not to eat chocolate for the whole of lent - as far as we know they did it and started the egg for breakfast on Easter Sunday!
