WALKING POLDARK'S CORNWALL - Holywell Bay

- A circular walk from West Pentire to Porth Joke, along the cliff to Holywell Bay, returning via fields. We also found the 'Holy Well' at Holywell Bay as seen in Series 3 of Poldark when Drake takes Morwenna to the Holy Well.
Keep being pleasantly surprised by finding ones like this that I haven't yet watched :) This walk is just so lovely, and seeing the Holy well itself in the sea cave is just special !!
This is crazy. I have never even looked into the name ! .. I have been to Holywell Bay over 8 times now. I was literally there last week on holiday and never even knew about the well ! I knew about the caves on the other side but not this. Wow I’m definitely going to o take a trip next time when I go back in September ! Thank you !

Oh I remember this from our walk in 2018. The tide was much higher and sadly we couldn't go to the holy well and cave. It is so nice to see it here 😊 And Polly Joke was full of water with a few seals swimming around 🙂 Torunn.
We stay at Holywell every year at a friends holiday home. Its a lovely beach.
Crantock was where I came every year in my teens/twenties (surfing days).
Polly Joke is my absolute favourite though, so intimate and perfect- especially at low tide!
That's my favourite area, and Porth Joke is my favourite beach .
Great to see the seals hauled out on the little island between Porth Joke and Holywell.
