I've had my Edge 5g about 2 months and man I haven't had a single issue. No stutter. No lag. I emulate up to gamecube, some ps2, and tons of others and can go x2 or x3 res in most games on most systems. I don't do much native Android gaming other than Albion online(runs incredible), Fortnite which runs just fine on epic the few times I played it, and od course HearthStone which runs amazing on about anything. Overall I'm super stoked with my purchase. It really sounds like you got a defective unit. But by your other dislikes I doubt a working unit would change your mind. My favorite use for my edge is playing hogwarts legacy around the house via steamlink. Works great and looks and sounds beautiful on the screen and speakers of the edge 5g(the 5g version comes with 'verizon adaptive sound' not sure if it is present in the wifi model.
I absolutely love my Razer Edge. However, your points are very valid. So far I've had no loud fan issues, no stuttering, the camera is still trash though. Was this a review model by any chance? Because I'm convinced that the one they sold vs the review models aren't the same. And if they are, Holy shit, there must be some defective units
I have the razor edge 5g and This thing is freaking amazing!! It handles all my PlayStation 2, Wii, and android games like a champ! Play it just as much as I play my steam deck!

When I first heard of this thing I immediately thought how this device is going to be bad... it didn't disappoint, because it was doomed from the get go... noone with a semi-recent smartphone would want this. I do not know what possessed Razor into sinking their time and money into this thing... I don't see any reason for it's existence...please feel free to convince me otherwise I just don't see any reason why anyone would want this...
Same thing I was struggling with while testing. Like why does this thing exists? I think they saw valve and ayaneo doing their thing and want a peace of the pie.
This thing could be a huge flop. I don't know bout the West, but here in Asian region (especially SEA) , most people does mobile gaming on an actual mobile phones. Heck they're even Pro Tournaments held &guess what? They only allowed the use of Smartphones for the tournaments.

straight out the box its boot looping, was considered doa.
The Edge 5G is a wonderful device that does well at what it is desingned to do. No, it's not perfect however, it gives me a few hours of fun.

I got mine because my s22 ultra was overheating. Personally, I love it

i had none of these gaming performs problems "sutters, fps lost" on my edge
