    89' and 90'. What an unbelieable couple of years for the band. In my opinion it was the band at their absolute peak of beauty.

    this isnt bad at all - they went a lot further downhill before the end - but the dead were definitely past their peak by this time. you really can see it in jerry's eyes. the sad or funny thing is that if you listen to what the jerry garcia band did in the same era, he has a completely different level of energy and his playing SMOKES. its some of his best playing ever.

    I got much worse. Remember the last tour. How sad was it when Jerry would forget words and just mumble during Althea and Visions of Johanna.

    Very business like. It's just the year, didn't care for it. I think they saw the writting on the wall....You can see it in Brent eye's & Jer is at his dimise. Spellng error? Love the band best ever!!!

    @Eidelmania im guessing you absolutely love death metal or justin beiber tho... there's good reason why the more highly evolved can understand this music and you can't ya know.
