This summer I am going to be a JC (junior counselor) at a sleep-awayin NC. Seven weeks is a long time to be away from home, so made this video to show some of my camp essentials. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! I will see y'all later!!

not sure if this is relevant anymore BUT i highly recommend investing in some chacos or crocs as water shoes!!!
Definitely chacos or tevas tevas are similar but cheaper brand and amazing!! Crocs are also amazing as well as rubber Birkenstock’s but chacos/tevas are meant for water sports and water shoes
at my camp we had the closed toed shoes rule so i never saw any chacos but they did count crocs as open toed because of the holes so we could only wear crocs in out cabin, creek, or shower. in the creek i rarely saw water shoes or crocs but i did see lots of old tennis shoes.
At my camp, campers can wear any type of bathing suit they want. Counselors can wear bathing suits but usually they don’t wear a bathing suits they’ll just wear a t-shirts and shorts.

i’ve gone to camp for two years but every year i add on to my packing list by watching pack with me for camp videos so links would be very helpful!
Did you mail some stuff to camp to save on suitcase space?
She probably drove instead of flying.
I drove to my camp so I just put everything in my car. However, a lot of my friends who had to fly did mail their trunks.

But trunks are so expensive
at my camp we can’t use suit cases and they didn’t recommend trunks becuse we don’t have bunks so they wouldn’t fit under our beds so duffel bags work well for us and they are cheap. even if there not the cutest some duffel bags are really cheap and really spacious so I would invest one or two of those.
