- hey guys!! I finally have the long awaited packing list video! This video ended up being super long but I hope it gives you a bit more of an insight on what to pack for camp this summer.

Hi! Super helpful vid. I’ve been contemplating whether to take a big suitcase, medium suitcase, or like a backpack that opens up into a suitcase. But now that I’ve seen you taking your large suitcase it’s bringing me back to my original idea. I’ve been thinking about the travelling aspect after camp - and not wanting to lug a massive suitcase around. Would you say it doesn’t affect your travel that much, and do you reckon everyone else similarly takes a massive suitcase too? Thanks. I’m still not sure what I’ll take lol.
I have a tip, if you don’t mind me adding; a padlock and key 🔐 if your travelling after camp and planning on staying in hostels, they provide you with a storage locker (for valuables like passport or backpacks) but don’t give you a lock for it. So It’s handy to have with you 😁

hey Victoria i'm going to camp this year, very excited for it. I have a tip that you might like. If you like packing cubes you're gonna love vaccum bags! they're like packing cubes only once you've filled it with your clothes you take a hoover and suck all the air out. Invest in like a pack of 6 and it will literally change your life! Also, love your videos x

Just a tip for anyone, Instead of taking multiple travel adapters you can take just one and plug a 4 socket extension lead in, super handy

I don't know if I missed it but some leggings/sweats to wear after shower hour or comfy clothes for nights staying in on camp! or casual late night trips to Walmart!

@@sharonmavera so sorry I’ve only just seen this comment!! And honestly the visa process isn’t as scary as it sounds, there’s hundreds of other people there at the same time getting their visa aswell, just make sure you’ve got all the documents you need and you’ll be good to go!! Just try and bring something showing you’ll be returning for work or uni etc, they don’t usually ask for this but it’s good to have it incase!

This like covered everything and was so helpful. Are there any brands for trainers you’d recommend? Or any particularly brands for anything to pack?
That’s actually a great question!! I’ve always had Nike trainers at camp and they’ve always lasted really well, but taking a cheaper pair of trainers from Primark is a great idea just incase you need a pair that will get muddy etc. other than that I’d say it’s all personal preference!

No problem I’m glad I can help!! Yes I’ve heard of that agency, a few of my friends have used them in the past! And yes it’s very normal to not have been placed yet, if you want to get ahead of everything you can always send out some applications to camps direct! X
Hii, so I’ve heard a bit about BUNAC I was wondering if you could answer this for me. Once you’ve done an interview , does BUNAC give you different options of camps to go to? I’ve seen a few and there’s one I really like and I was wondering if there was any way I could try and go to that one ?
Yes you can! I’d recommend reaching out to BUNAC and confirming they work with the camp you’re interested in, I would also advise reaching out to that camp direct and apply on their website. When you have your interview with BUNAC you then have access to our camp matching, which is where you can view camps and they can view your profile and you can reach out to them if they seem like a good fit for you!

I’m unsure if you’ve mentioned this but when do you go to camp as I go to camp on the 5th June. Would your pack with me video be out by then, as I am also an overpacker and can’t wait to see it 😂

Hi im going to camp for the first time this year, if I take a suitcase for camp and a rucksack to take travelling after where would I leave the suitcase? surely if I left it at camp I would have to come all the way back to camp to get it before my flight home from NY??
Yeah you wouldn’t be able to do that, you’ll have to take all your luggage with you when you leave camp x
