Welcome to crash curls!! This summer I am going to be a JC (junior counselor) at a sleep-awayin NC. I go to the same camp am a camper and I am so happy you bring pads because my last counselor didn’t and my friend freaked out when she needed one
im scared because i am twelve and i haven’t gotten mine yet so i will bring some but i hope i don’t get mine at camp 😬

At my camp, campers can wear any type of bathing suit they want. Counselors can wear bathing suits but usually they don’t wear a bathing suits they’ll just wear a t-shirts and shorts.
heyy, i’m going to be a camp councillor for the first time next year. It’s a international one, i’m from england and going to camp in the usa (i haven’t been told which state yet) but this has helped me so much. made me realise how much i forgot

I’m about to do my first summer as a counselor and I’m both nervous but super excited. I leave at the end of this week and I’ve been watching so many videos on what to bring so I’m ready.

I’m going to Christian youth camp this year, I think my church is hosting it’s so it’s not gonna be huge like usually probably cause of covid too but I love watching videos while perpetrating especially since we didn’t have one last year it makes me more excited. It’s literally the highlight of my year

I could never bring a bin because in my cabin three years age there was a scorpion and a mouse or a rat can remember
same! they would always tell us to zip up our duffels or a mouse would crawl into it! i have heard many stories about mice getting into peoples stuff which is also why we are not allowed to bring food! it and never happened to me but i have seen many mice around the camp! we did have a squirrel and wasp infestation where i slept at one point which made me very nervous so hopefully that doesn’t happen again this summer!
I watch a lot of packing videos when I’m getting ready for going somewhere or when I want to but I especially watch them when I think I’m done packing because I forget stuff very very easily so lists and videos and other people with better memory then me are very very important so for anyone planning on going on a trip here’s a great tip- have someone check what’s in your bag from top to bottom or if your going together check each other’s luggage it’s so so helpful

I love that you brought pads and tampons for kids! I am 12 and experiencing all the symptoms and I have camp next week, and honestly, I would rather use tampons other than pads...

i haven’t got mine yet but i am scared because i am twelve to and i don’t want to get mine at camp!
But trunks are so expensive
at my camp we can’t use suit cases and they didn’t recommend trunks becuse we don’t have bunks so they wouldn’t fit under our beds so duffel bags work well for us and they are cheap. even if there not the cutest some duffel bags are really cheap and really spacious so I would invest one or two of those.
