They basically have announced like 100 batteries at this point without ever having delivered anything

I always doubted their claims. Hope they will get it right sometime soon.

You can actually already buy a consumer solid state battery, companies called Yoshino, and they make solid state battery banks.
They seem really good. I can't wait for this kinda stuff to trickle down into Computers, smart phones, watches, etc. As longer battery lifes, on a more "green" battery.

Any mention of energy density? The charging times are pretty much on par with other manufacturers, so that alone will not make them stand out from their competitors.

They’re just above 800wh/L for prototypes, but for QSE-5 they’re planning a 1000wh/L pack. Also, it isn’t just charging times, although it is much better and safer than current technology. The video said 15 minutes from 10-80%, but it’s closer to 8 minutes. The battery life is a huge benefit. These batteries maintained over 95% battery health over 1,000 cycles. That’s huge.

Yeah seemed like a good idea but there ability to produce it in quantity is absent . Meanwhile dozens of others and the Sisters and Brothers
are working on there own version of Solid State or some other exotic solution.

The whole point of this video is Quantumscapes advancements and accomplishments in production. A2 and B0 samples are production samples, proof they are doing it, faster and faster. All those others, haven't produced anything, they are still stuck in the lab.
