I bought a brand new leather and very expensive La z Boy recliner with remote control in Ocala, FL because I was anticipating shoulder surgery. Mine is squeaky right from the start! It squeaks just when I slightly rock with it, and when the reclining mechanism is driven out and in. Do they not lubricate these things when they are being built? La z boy really needs to look at their quality control. Mine was close to $3,000 even on sale!
Good Lord, I figured out what kind of chair it is.. I bought one used, that I love dearly, but decided to give it to my mom who has FIVE prolapses in her back. She needed it more than me. Now, the hunt begins for another one of these.
I'd like to know if it is possible to adjust the chair so that when you sit down you don't fly back n it. My father has little muscle tone in his legs now so he tends to fall back in the chair and it flies back. Any idea?
Notice the particle board! Does not stand up to everyday use. One of our arms separated from the frame and it was hard to reattach to the particle board. Not a good product at all. Should be a solid wood frame for what you pay for this brand!!!
Nice video, just a shame that La-Z-Boyz got greedy and won't , I repeat, WON"T honor their warrenty on my wife's recliner. Local dealer wont touch her's but repaired my 8-9 year old chair for $100.00 cash. IT took a former Lazyboy dealer to make new local dealer to honor the 10 year warrenty, but they wont touch my wife's chair, so we got an Ashley power recliner for same price, better warrenty:) cya Lazyboyz!!! bye, bye bye!!! So many things wrong here: The foot rest does NOT support the middle of your legs that is just weak fabric that appears to. There is NO hardwood on this chair especially in the places where structural integrity is important like the rocker blocks that withstand heavy down forces. You never want to release the foot rest the way she did here. It will wear out prematurely. It’s a good thing la-z-boy offers lifetime warranty on the frame and mechanisms and there is the ability to buy replacement parts from the dealer. The cushions and fabric are covered for only 1 year. This as of July 2021
Too bad the company is shit and the warranty is non existent! Spend your hard earned money on a company that actually cares about treating their customers well.
