    In this video, look at the chair @3:18 &
    you'll see a VERY dark,long 'S' type steel coil that runs vertically down at the bottom of the chair.
    Mine broke, completely in half. (No, I don't weigh 300+ pounds, & NO one, even kids, have ever jumped on my chair) I believe there must've been a 'weak' spot in that steel. So, basically, my butt kinda' sinks down now. Any thoughts about this? Thanks y'all. 👍🏻

      Hey Brenda, I'm not sure if I'm understanding you completely. Maybe you need to tighten the tension springs on your recliner. This will make it easier or harder for the back rest to recline. Let me know how it goes!

    We have 2 la-Z-Boy recliners, both motorized. Is it possible to adjust the at rest position so the back is more upright? I find that when I sit when both the Back and Legrest are fully closed that it throws me back too far, I would like to sit more vertical.

      Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately those pieces can not be adjusted because the back rest is one piece and the base is one piece.

    There are two reasons why people don’t buy Lazy boy recliners, either they’ve never had one, or they’ve never known someone who has. I had a Flexsteel recliner for about thirty five years and loved it but thankfully they stopped making that model and they didn’t have a style we wanted, but Lazy Boy did and after two weeks now, I can’t believe the comfort I was missing. Everything this guy’s telling us is accurate but he left out one minor detail. Once you’re in it, you’re not going to want to get out of it. That’s real.

    Only problem we have with our new recliner is it filled the house with a bad odor that bothered our sinuses, and after months of "airing out" the smell is still there... What is this? It's definitely something that never used to be in older (better) furniture...

    I'm sorry, I know the LB is a great brand but the inflated prices on this furniture is not justified and ill tell you why. While the mechanism or the hardware may have a good warranty the cushioning and the fabric does not!!! I don't care how good the brand name if the cushioning is low grade then the other stuff is meaningless!! No furniture anywhere will stand behind their product because they know after about six months to a year you have a FLAT cushion which I might add does the lumbar of your spine no good at all!! Do love the brand but will not put that kind of money into a chair that I know will be flat in no time!!! All furniture stores need to address the issues of better fabric and cushioning!!

    • @FurnitureAcademy
      @FurnitureAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Glenda, We love hearing that you're a fan of the brand! Six months seems a bit early to see any cushion degradation but if you are having issues with your cushions on a La-Z-Boy then you're in luck! La-Z-Boy offers a 1-year warranty on Standard poly foam and blown fiber. They also offer 3-year warranty on their airform and ComfortCore cushions and 5 years on their ComforCore GEL cushions. If no furniture store anywhere will stand behind their product then I guess La-Z-Boy is the only one.
